Even as a Steelers fan who was raised on the idea that playing good defense was the key to winning championships, I absolutely loved watching the Greatest Show on Turf. It was like watching a fast break basketball team on a football field. Kurt Warner is also one of the best stories ever in sports. To go from working in a grocery store, to playing arena league, to getting his chance as a starting quarterback in the NFL and spending that season absolutely carving up defenses, we will never see anything like that again.

3 straight matchups the Rams put up 40+ points against the Vikings (then did it again in 2006), I think it's crystal clear which team in this era had the best offense

Vikings always have two elite WRs and a somewhat okay-ish quarterback

Rams had 5 elite WRs (Bruce, Holt, Hakim, Proehl, & Horne) + Faulk who could've played WR)

@@EricStuder89oh yeah totally! I just meant that it seems to be the theme with the Vikings every era 😆

Marshall Faulk is in my mind the best RB the Rams ever had. Forget Dickerson, SJ39 or even Gurley. I loved watching Faulk the most.

London Fletcher never missed a game due to injury in his career, being one of only five players in NFL history to play in over 250 consecutive games. He holds the record for most consecutive starts at linebacker. He finished his career with 215 consecutive games started, which ties him for seventh all-time along with Alan Page and Ronde Barber.
