@@blingwraith6951 I don't know if I would put my faith in the combat decision making of video game strategists... Then again they may put less ego into those decisions. The US military once lost a war to Iran. It was a training exercise and OpFor was lead by a Marine general who did not use American tactics. I was Army so it hurts my pride a little that a Marine thoroughly whooped our collective asses with a ragtag force. My pride isn't the problem though. I'm able to accept the L and learn from it but the officers in charge of BlueFor got their feelings hurt. They had the threat adapted to them instead of adapting to thre threat. The exercise was ran again but the Marine general had to stick to American doctrine. This time around he was defeated in detail. Current military leaders have bigger egos than any gamer I know. That ego is going to get a lot of people killed. Another funny thing about the real military is that every order gets politicized and scrutinized so heavily that the battle was over two weeks prior to a decision being made. This was supposed to be funny, but I think it turned into TL:DR rant...

Rewatching it's incredible how bad Solar threw. Tried to end the game fast with a Roach Ravager push that got wiped by the cyclone + SCV and lost his advantage, then on the Nydus push fought his whole army under 3 tanks with no vision. Just kept wiping his advantages away. Third push fought under tanks and liberators

Adam Henley that I think has more to do with personal style. Serral as I called him, a info Zerg, his games are so calculated that you’ll either see him crushes opponents as if he’s so much better skill wise, or he’ll forfeit and gg out so fast that most audiences would wonder why he gave up so early when there seems to be possible ways to comeback. Because he always wants to make the optimal decision and position he think base on the information he had. Solar, along with Soo and many players, I called them aggressive Zergs. Their philosophy seems to be that, you can’t have perfect information in this game, no matter how good you’re, there’s alway chance that you’ll miscalculate situation. Especially further into late game territory where there are too many variables involved. So the best way to capitalize an advantage is to attack when you’re ahead, and finish it before it gets complicated.
