Eric Mangini talks the New England Patriots documentary with Colin Cowherd on The Herd. The former Patriots coach talks what he expects to see in the documentary, including the breakdown of the relationship between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. He also talks the San Francisco 49ers and the whispers that Kyle Shanahan didn't prepare his team for the overtime rules in Super Bowl LVIII. Actually the Chiefs D had the niners stopped right away but gave them the first when Mcduffie slipped and accidentally hooked the wr. And ended up being 1 of the only calls made all night but they still got it done in the red zone.

Collin's predictions are usually wrong lol but SF, Dallas, and Detroit as Wildcards would be wild. All these predictions are irrelevant though till after free agency and the draft.

08:00 you dont only use analytics and your game situations should consider the opponent : how KS could think he would have had the ball on a 3rd OT drive ? The chiefs would have gone for a 2pt conversation (they said it after the game) even if niners had score a TD (which they didnt). That scenario works only if both teams score FG. It was stupid but to give your D a break if they were gased. Problem : KS didnt talk about that being part of his thinking…

How are people not talking about if time runs out in 1OT..the second possession becomes untimed and if the game is still tied after what would’ve been KC’s drive, there would’ve been another coin toss for 2OT. The Niners potentially wouldn’t have even gotten a 2nd possession. Shanahan completely mismanaged OT and just won’t admit it by trying to give people this 2nd possession nonsense

I don’t like this list it’s basically a piggy back off of last season. But I get it, it’s slow with no football that first week is always tough, not much to do. But let’s be honest here, no one is going to remember this whether he’s spot on or not, not even Colin will remember this. You can’t really piggy back off of one season to predict the next. Sports doesn’t work like that, and if it did, sports wouldn’t mean as much as they do to the world (also sports betting would be at an all time low overall, everyone would’ve figured out the formula by now and the bookies would be broke). I do this too (for fun) but I do it in June, and so will Colin, and he’ll probably do it again the day before Kickoff in September.

Not to mention the Chiefs being beneath the Colts. Indianapolis might actually finish last in the AFC South having to play the Packers, Bills, Dolphins, Lions, Vikings then the Jags, Texans and Titans twice in division play. I wish these guys would have logical takes nowadays.
