Nothing gets people talking like racial tension. There's a saying that the NFL's biggest fear is a white American superstar, and that's why. If Cooper Flagg pans out, we'll be having this discussion daily times ten. The NFL will take a back seat to the NBA's race wars (which is what the NBA wants).

Hawkeye fan here. I like Angel Reese and had literally zero issue with her taunting CC back in 2023. That's sports. Deal with it or don't watch. I have no bad blood with Angel. However, to me Angel showed her true colors when she celebrated her teammate throwing a cheap shot and said "People watch WNBA for me too!" afterword. She just proved the "She's jealous!" crowd 100% correct. I'm not a Psychologist but I think airtight evidence exists that Angel feels a type of way. Which is weird because she got the best of CC when it mattered most in the 2023 Natty. This whole thing is just strange to me. Angel's the winner here. No need to be bitter about anything.

@@reggiej230 Well if you just take on-court, 2023 NCAA tournament actions alone, they 1) got a flagrant for pulling a girl down by her hair mid-layup, 2) punched a girl in the face mid-jump shot under the hoop, 3) cussed out the opposing coaching staff during a handshake line, 4) chased a girl around the court to gloat in her face when the championship game was no longer in question. There's also the fact that their "star" player literally referred to her team as the "villains" of the sport.

I agree with Colin. I would take Eli's career over Rodgers career. Here's why: 1. Eli never got hurt. Set records for consecutive starts. Aaron was pretty healthy, but lost 2 seasons, and sat 3, along the way 2. I'd rather play in New York than Green Bay 3. I'd rather beat The GOAT, twice, head-to-head, in the Super Bowl 4. He beat an unbeaten team, in the Super Bowl 5. No off the field controversy with Eli 6. Proved his first Super Bowl, and his first beating of Brady, was no fluke. Aaron hasn't proven his Super Bowl wasn't lucky. 7. Aaron is 12-11 in the postseason, while Eli is 8-4 8. Eli beat Aaron in the playoffs, twice. Won 2 out of 3 postseason matchups.

Fouling is part of basketball, especially when its some potential ubber star in their rookie year, its a rite of passage - HOWEVER, that doesn't mean flagrant fouls, at least try to look like its not on purpose, and more importantly, foul away but expect it to be called, the refs SHOULD be calling them too, you don't just turn the other cheek and let people foul freely, that takes away from the quality of the game just as much as over-calling fouls, especially whenever the foul is egregious looking.

People acting like Caitlin clark gets attention because she’s white. No, she’s literally a 1 of 1 in terms of style of play. When the women can’t play above the rim, there is nothing exciting about their game. The ONE THING that stands out in women’s basketball is Caitlin Clark’s style. The WNBA is going to be huge because they play BASKETBALL. The 1st time I went to a WNBA game I was completely shocked by how great the players were. That was over 20 years ago when Detroit's Swin Cash was a superstar. The current WNBA players have taken it to an even higher level. It's because of players like Caitlin and Angel. They could very well do what Magic and Bird did back in the 80s. I love watching them play.

Why is Kaitlyn Clarke the best rookie this year? Her team is only one two games. She’s shooting 32% 3pt. Averaging 15pts per game. Are those “best rookie” numbers?

Here's what's interesting to me, Nick just listed three (3) players who, in his opinion, are better than Jayson Tatum. That places Tatum at fourth and you could make the argument for fifth or sixth if you consider Steph and SGA (and possibly Anthony Edwards). But keep in mind, that's out of 450+ players in the NBA! That's nothing to shake a stick at. In fact, that puts him in elite company. Stop dissin' Jayson Tatum! Dude is SPECIAL.

We need to stop with the race stuff. It’s not race. Kaitlin Clark is likable and great. It’s not because she white. Nobody liked Angel Reese because of how she acted in victory and defeat. The same people had a problem with Serena Williams. It’s not about race. And just because sports media is talking about it doesn’t mean the WBNA is popular. The WBNA should be thanking thier lucky starts for Kaitlin Clark. Yet those lonely terrible mean women can’t even be happy. Maybe if they were better at basketball. It’s the man’s fault yet no woman I know of follows the WNBA.

It's the NFL the margins are always close, besides that he was spectacular by almost any statistical metric. The Texans as a team are very young last tear outside of Leremy Tunsil and it's not that much to project they will be better this year.

@@greenearth975 lol not really. in fact I would say they're quite defined. and history shows us a good rookie season does not guarantee some level of projected success throughout a career, thus the typical sophomore slump most players endure. because again, I think he'll be the third beat qb in his division this year because lawrence and Richardson both got hurt last year. it was a good story but that chapters coming to an end quickly

@@itsallwrong89 It's different for every player. Some start hot and get hotter. Besides that you can look at Vegas odds, across the board the Texans are the favorite to win the NFC south and CJ Stroud is in the top five for MVP odds. There's really no principled reason to think he or the team will be worse.

@@greenearth975 id pay to see them win the nfc south considering they play in the afc lol. and I gave you multiple examples why he's more likely to have a worse season and win fewer games. among them the harder schedule because they won the division last year, the league has more tape on him, we don't know how kickoff will affect the outcomes of games, something like half the teams don't make the playoffs the following year and I'm curious who you think will miss out other than probably the dolphins, the texans ownership is considered one of the worst in the league, they have a super disgruntled wide receiver they just signed in diggs that is going to terrorize the locker room because he isn't a 1 receiver talent anymore... literally I can keep going if you like...
