With the final characters to unlock it feels like they had the amazing Idea to add hover goat to the game as a final kick to goats being the animal's zombies. Then they realised they had to make a plant one too

I remember playing Trials of Gnomus for the first time and having a blast but also thinking wow that these bosses are very easy and now I realize we had the difficulty on our the lowest and when I did it again 4 years later I had it on crazy. If you didn’t know momentum works weirdly in this game compared to others. When using sb kick do not hold forward as it will kill your momentum and slow you down potentially killing you. Also you can use this to jump multiples times and traverse across the map

I remember thinking that a gw3 should go more into the gnomes and them stepping in due to all the plants and zombies meddling in the timeline for the story. I was dissapointed that bfn hit the reboot button on the franchise all together. Also the old gnome aesthetic in gw2 was way better and gave more of a mystical cosmic feeling to them. Torchwood became one of my favorite classes in gw2 being the second i mastered overall. I'm not as crazy about playing hovergoat but I still think hes one of the best designed support characters in the series. God I wish the mystery portal rotation wasn't garbage nowadays. Now would've been perfect for spooky squash!

@@poochthedog1 They could've easily made the rotation not crap by simply fitting the better modes in a set preference through the year with modes like boss hunt such as: summer:sasquatch, winter: yeti king, spring: brothers gnomus, fall: spooky squash. The other modes could also be easily squeezed into the extra months. Sadly popcap might as well have shot the game in the face and descreated the corpse with the amount of randos rapid who gives a !;&$ anymore. Sucks since we cant get the cosmetic rewards or achievements anymore. Even more infuriating since modders on PC have added the modes back into the game and even made qol changes to them. I dont care if gw2 never gets updated again, I just want the endgame rotation to not be garbage by literally changing some lines of code.

@@guncatto2625 Funnily enough the games code even calls it gw3 and most of it got carried over from the scrapped project hot tub game. Seriously why do the plants designs look better in that early game footage than the entirety of bfn? Bfn is really a frankesnteins monster of a game. It tries to be overwatch yet uses gw modes and characters yet also makes some of the worst design changes in the series like base capturing in turf/Suburbination and ops.

It's worth noting that unlike the lever puzzle that can be found from the same chamber you enter TOG from after collecting all Golden Gnomes, the Trial Of Gnomus code combinations were different for each player. For the people who took the time to learn the pattern for that puzzle, this was a huge deal and meant that every player would have to wait their sweet time for their reward to get it at the same time as the others. Unless you were on PC of course with cheaters aplenty. I was there with everyone waiting for the next week and the challenge that would come with it. Thing was, there was a surprise community challenge after the third Town Hall event which meant that we had to wait an extra week to get done with that and get to the TOG finale.

I remember the absolute pain of taking a pic of the trial of recollection code and losing it. Until I realized the door at the end of the trail doesn’t close and you can use a drone to see the code after you complete it once.

I was actually really scared and anxious of the trails of gnomes when I was younger and first played the game( the gnomes were terrifying ok and the atmospehere too ominous), so I didn't dare doing it. Untill like several years later when I revisited the game.....

Honestly none of these challenges were really hard except for Trial Or Recollection that one honestly took 5 hours to do. The funniest thing is on the last one I quickly wrote done the symbols and some miracle I made to the end under 10 second from memory. The Rainbow Guardian took me not as long but still long enough but I used normal Citron with its Shield and on some miracle again I did it. After this the Sticker Shop added Rainbow stars to its shop because the town hall might not be open that time. If you wanted to get just one of the two characters you will need 1 million coins for just one character so you need 2 million to unlock both.

My brother managed to make the trial of hot plates of doom either much easier. or found a cheese Strat for it. Basically you just use citron, peelout, and bhop along. It can get you through the 1st 2 stages at least.

replying to this vid extremely late, but I feel like an absolute idiot for not just using Super Brainz's Flying Kick to cheese the entirety of the Trial of Hot Doom, and I bet literally everyone that did the Trial of Hot Doom without him would probably feel the same way. I didn't use Imp, though, I used Twilight Chomper to warp over the entire last set of jumps, so I did it semi-legit.

nah this doesn’t count as a singleplayer campaign because it takes less than a couple of hours to complete (took me like 40 minutes to get passed the first 4 bosses), once you get the stars/keys (which is a multiplayer thing. so not singleplayer)
