Dear brother, I love your videos, saying this not to praise you, as no amount of knowledge feels sufficient I know, but to give feedback in the hope that your videos will continue to hold the qualities I admire. InshaAllah. Of all the brilliant scholars/sheikhs, ustads etc, I asked myself why yours? These are just a few of many reasons, I came up with: 1. Topic and depth: You pick topics, not necessarily new to a Muslim and give "meaning" to them. You remove the shallowness of understanding and bring out the beauty and appreciation again. It could be just one verse, dua, hadith even, but the depth is deeper than most people think about and/or have forgotten. 2. The sweetness that you deliver with, feels it comes from the heart, sincere and with humility MashaAllah, only a person who has pondered, experienced, lives it and feels it, can convey it the way you do. (Allah Knows Best) This is what make the difference between conveying knowledge and moving a person to tears in my humble opinion. Most of your videos do, if not all. MashaAllah. SubhanAllah Alhamdulillah Allahu-Akbar Jazakillahukhairan, my dear sister, for speaking my heart out. I sincerely agree with what you said. I have been going through a very tough time in my marriage for the past two years. I wholeheartedly accept that this is a test from Allah (SWT). Why I say this is because the pain and suffering in my marriage brought me closer to Allah ( SWT) or, in other words Allah (SWT) has guided me towards Him by putting me in this particular test. Alhamdulillah. From the beginning of this, I'm searching for my purpose in this duniya, I've asked myself who do I turn to, who do I rely on, who is going to cure my pain, who is going to resolve the issues, who is going to put ease in my heart, does it matter if I'm happy in this duniya or not, isn't it that akhirah is our real life? What am I doing to please Allah (SWT)? To find the answers to my questions and the uncertainty of my marriage, I'm constantly searching, constantly seeking knowledge, praying, making duas, reciting Qur’an with meaning, making istighfar, trying as much as possible and praying tahajjud. The moment I started seeking knowledge, with due respect, I came across many sheikh, scholars, imams, and many others with knowledge. I felt as though I wasn't getting my answers clearly until I came across Brother Omar Suleiman's videos. Alhamdulillah. I praise Allah for guiding me to this brother's vidoes. As you rightly said sister, his teaching is very indepth. A word can simply have one meaning or two, but the way this brother explains a word with great details and dedication, I begin to see myself practising and applying this knowledge in my life while I'm watching his teachings. I can clearly understand his speech, Allah (SWT) blessed him with knowledge, a very deep and clear voice, humility, calmness, humbleness, pace of speech, smile and and noor on his face. MashaAllah. He breaks down the topics in such a manner that you don't only understand, but you see yourself already applying this into your everyday practice. In my opinion, their teachings are meant to benefit people like us by applying that knowledge, not just listen to lectures and not understand. If we can not relate the piece of information or knowledge they give in our hearts, minds, and lives, then perhaps it wasn't conveyed in such a manner. Brother Omar, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for educating me with your profound and comprehensive knowledge of Islam. I bought most of the books written by you and trying as much as possible to strengthen myself and my deen. You are indeed a living example of sdakah e zariah of your parents, as a sister rightly said. Allah ( swt) bestow upon you his mercy and blessings in this duniya and in the akhirah, too.
