L'affichage de la partition qui permet de "suivre" autant que faire se peut .... permet de mesurer le niveau de difficulté et d'apprécier avec d'autant plus de bonheur la grande qualité d'interprétation !

Nicely played. Great to see so many people are playing this, cause it was written for the euphonium from my band😉

Thanks for listening. If you ever need a soloist, I am always looking for the next performance opportunity. I was a guest soloist on 10 occasions in 2023. Check on my KZbin page to view the recordings.

Inspiring playing! I played baritone in HS before the Euphonium was born. My You Tube has many Euphonium soloists on it, and I one every day. My first lessons were in Iowa.

What do you mean "before the euphonium was born"?
@melanyarmstrong9329 Жыл бұрын
When I was a teenager I played the baritone horn which was before the euphonium - is this correct? In general terms - as you can tell, I am not an historian. Thanks for asking. @@CristoferHanson-hv1xd

@melanyarmstrong9329 When I was in junior high I was in the band The director ( his real job was first chair third violin in a medium rank orchestra) seemed to really like baritone and switched two neophyte trumpet players to baritone. Our first chair had a tiny silver beauty made by the Salvation Army factory in England. The mandatory challenges for first chair were a joke. We two switched from trumpet used school horns. They were brass and bigger than my fathers Tuba. I think they were really euphoniums but we played them as Bflat treble clef baritones. Since arrangements for our level including treble clef baritone parts are scarse we played 3rd trumpet parts most of the time. The basic beggining music books we used were Treble clef euphonium/baritone version. Clearly written for euphonium with baritone added. I am pretty sure that euphoniums are at least as old as brass bands.
