I remember my first job working in a nursery in NJ. We also had plastic greenhouses, we had to redo the plastic every other year due to UV damage. How often do you have change yours? I'm sure the plastic is more UV resistant now than it was in the '70s when I started.

Andrew, Don't worry about the twins, as long as they are healthy they will gain weight. I weighed 3-1/2# & my brother 4+# when we were born. We are now 91 years old & weigh too much today. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lauren needs 2 snuggle sacks. My twin is a boy as well. My mom told me this hack. Get the snuggle sacks and sling one over your shoulders and shift it to the right. Do the same to the second one and move it to the the left. Plop the babies in there out in the car before you go into the store. Not only are you going to start losing baby weight but you will heal faster. Have Andrew lift the heavy stuff ( gallons of milk etc.) but really just walk. Your babies are your exercise. Also my mom said to breast feed 2 babies she would football hold us. One under each arm facing you, face next to the breast. Have babies latch on and have Andrew get some firm pillows and slide under babies for support. Voila!!!!. You may already be doing this and if so skip it. Get your diapers and Home Depot if using disposable. You get more for your money and they both will deliver to your home.

Bravo to you for getting up with Lauren in the night. That’s a particularly hard time for moms. And I found that the lack of sleep with your first child hits you hard. After that it seems like your body is more used to short amounts of sleep at a time. You’re very lucky to have a helpful, loving family for support. You are all blessed.
