Thank God NEMA declared that the houses were far beyond the riparian land and were within the requirements of the environment, the only challenge was that the river would swell incase of heavy rains so the developer was requested to reinforce the area to avoid flooding so the owners had nothing to worry about the developer was compliant with all the regulations and there was no need to demolish the houses

once a groups of houses built in particular area experience flooding , their market value significantly drops and no mortgage lender and insurer will touch them.

Crazy!! Around 2000 the land here costed under 1million for 3 acres!! Now is these 50x100 going for multimillions! Greed with developers pushed these investors into a river bank! Sad
