As Ethiopian, we follow our own Calendar and celebrated this year’s New Year on September 11. However, the date is not fixed every year as it changes according to the cycle. We are in the year 2017 according to the Ethiopian calendar, not 2024/2025.

Yes, this is such an interesting topic!! I observe a different calendar, but I went to a NYE party on Wed. I will never do that again!! 🤦🏽 Yes, our new year begins when things begin anew. Yes, for us in the Northern Hemisphere, that's spring & also the 1st sign of the zodiac is Aries. Both occur: Mar 20/21. And, this aligns with the October=8 ... Dec=10, Jan = 11, Feb = 12, Mar = 13... 13 because there are 13 moon cycles in the year. This is just one of 20+ different ways people celebrate the "new year." The Gregorian calendar is for COMMERCE (and paganism). We would be wise to observe what's necessary to function in business. But, in our personal and spiritual lives, it's best to celebrate and love by the Natural Law of Time. 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽 Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Definitely good question to share. 👍🏽

Funny thing is many years ago I just started getting disgusted by holidays, new years. I believe it's possible to revisit memories...like for example if you broke up with someone at a point in time, the next year you'll be wondering why you feel disgusting it's because you didn't properly release and let go or cleanse anyways when you are able to reach different levels of consciousness, I honestly believe it's possible to feel what was going on hundreds and thousands of years ago simply by tuning in like a radio 📻 so now after watching this video I am at peace why I literally get sickened by Christmas and it doesn't help with the current situation in Gaza I can't see what people can celebrate. I believe each year I can feel all the debauchery and hedonism which I'm not against, it's just not the proper way to enlightenment hence the Februaris Menses or month of expiation Dec and Feb correspond Dec is month of expiRation. I noticed that I developed allergies to time 😂😂 I even gave away my Rolex, I do keep time but it doesn't keep me. It's amazing how you can tell your body to wake up exactly at a certain time like today I woke up exactly at 3:45 am. It is true, if you control time you have dominion over everyone. Even when it's "past time" people are still enslaved to time, it's truly sad. The Gregorian calendar is an absolute joke...so right now the Sun 🌞 is in the house of Sagittarius 🏹 so don't wonder why each birthday celebration feels weird or different, the calendar is joke it looks better in the trash. We have more power when we connect truly to our roots. Ubuntu have been charmed by the Italian magic...all those names are magic 🪄✨ that's why you want to wear them. RITE! EVERYTHING starts to become NEW again in March when the trees start to bud, the flowers start to bloom, the grass turns green, the birds, bees, and ALL insects, fish, and animal life mates again, including us HUEMANS. NOTHING grows in the winter; therefore, the NEW YEAR begins in March 21 when things SPRING to life, again!
