Thanks for sharing this hotel review. I always wanted to try it. I highly recommend staying at Edgewater in Gatlinburg. Get the rooms with a river view. We love staying there.

We stayed at the Greystone in October, also in a room with a balcony and we loved it. Yes it is older, but we found it to be cleaner than most hotels and honestly, being able to walk everywhere was amazing. We loved the parking situation as well! As always, the boys are adorable!

That lodge looks like a great place to stay!! I will remember it if i ever get back to the mountains again 😊 It reminds me of a small place in Cherokee ,N.C.🤔. The " Rivers Edge "? maybe? It backed up to the river in Cherokee and had balconies over the river. It was affordable and quiet and clean ! Downstairs gave you easy access to your car, but you still have your own private balcony in the back over the river! I have stayed there twice & i loved it 😊🏞️ It was very pretty & cozy !! ( I wish we were back there now!😢 ) From Georgia with love ❤

It sounds like that hotel in Cherokee is very similar to the Greystone Lodge. We've never been to Cherokee, but we hope to make the trek over the mountain one day to visit. Very good review love the vintage pics in the room ong a slide i haven't seen them since early 80s that was my favorite thing about the pool Very convenient for you guys be sade out there and wonderful sending lots of support hugs prayers and ❤❤❤❤❤❤

The vintage pictures were so neat. We wondered if each room has different historical pictures of Gatlinburg and the hotel. We wish that it was a little warmer so that we could've tried out the pool and slide. We hope that you're having an excellent weekend, Michelle!

It was definitely convenient being able to park a few feet away from the room and bypassing the need for an elevator or stairs. This is such a great place to stay with its location too. We hope that you're having an awesome weekend. We love you too! God bless!

Nice job Brent! That balcony above the water was awesome! You could probably leave the door open on mild weather days and listen to the water while lying in bed. Since you approve, i will be sure to consider the hotel for the next chili cook-off 🙂

Y'all would love staying here! This will now be a regular spot for us on quick weekend trips to Gatlinburg. There's a couple other hotels that we can point out to you sometime that are over in Pigeon Forge that are just as nice, with river views/balcony and a really great price per night. We hope to see y'all again at the chili cookoff this fall. Y'all should join us at Dollywood the next day for Smoky Mountain Christmas.

Whe n you can you guys should try the Bearskin Lodge. We have stayed there for 16 years. Things to enjoy: Breakfast Balcony to enjoy the river Gym Laundry area parking under the hotel Coffee in the foyer We love this place,so comfy. Hope you get chance to try it. Liz

Stayed there July 4th 2024. The rooms were Great. The Breakfast though....did NOT include any meat what so ever ? Just Eggs & Biscuits

We think that this area is beautiful during every part of the year, but all of the deciduous trees are bare without leaves right now. The green will start coming back in April. We hope that you have a great trip to the Smokies.
