Wait so, do you by any chance know what happens to the dog that plays "Max" every year? Is it the same dog? A different one? Also, I'm sure they take good care of him, but I can't help but feel like he doesn't like it there. I'd appreciate the response ^~^

Fear not, I asked a cast member about this. There are many dogs who play Max, and each year they rescue different dogs from shelters to play the role. They 'perform' during sets with the Grinch and then they get long breaks to play and rest backstage. At the end of each season, Universal Studios works with the LA Animal Services to adopt the dogs into families. :)

I just recently went and saw three different "Max's" during the whole day that I was there. And Briberry is right! I asked the same thing and they told me exactly what she said! I'm so happy they do this!

@BRockBRollBU Maleficent hardly ever comes out, the last time she did was Halloween 2010, and that was only for a few nights out of the month. Same with the Tremaines. I would LOVE to film them more, but like most other villains they only come out for meet and greets at Halloween. I could try and film others like Cruella and the Queen, but I'm not too familiar with their schedules.

@briberry Oh wow. That... kind of makes me a sad panda, but i guess it makes sense. Most kids probably don't seek out the bad guys from their favorite movies... Though I remember always wanting to be Maleficent's apprentice or something. lol. how sweet would that be, eh? And part might be hard to fill, even if i think she'd be a fun character. but maybe i'm wierd. :P

@popman71 Let's see there was Grinch, Lucille Ball, Curious George, the Lorax, Spongebob, Zorro, Frankenstein, Crash Bandicoot, Fievel, Shrek and Donkey, Homer Simpson, Beetlejuice, Doc Brown, Woody Woodpecker, Marilyn Monroe, and I'm sure there's more but those are the ones we saw.
