An interesting thing about the Python 3's is that, while their stat card reads 40G's, they don't actually end up hitting 40G's. Most IR missiles at 11.3+ pull tighter turns. They only really end up hitting ~28-30G in practice due to fin angle limitations (19.8 degrees vs. Aim-9L's 22.5 degrees. And then Magic sitting in the corner with a diabolical 32 degrees). It's primary advantage(s) were always raw acceleration and overall range.
