I am a big fan of Matt and OG, having ordered a full Kranzle power wash set up from him, including the MTM PF22.2 cannon. I hated having to mix my soap using that tiny opening in the top. Also had trouble with 2 of them. I actually found the BOSS myself, before Matt started with it at OG, and I am glad he now supports this unit. I have never been a fan of Griot's products, so I was skeptical, but the BOSS is truly fantastic. The ball-weight at the end of the tube is such an ingenious idea, and being able to pour my Adam's Mega Foam directly into the container and have the unit do the water/soap mixing for me is a game-changer. I have one for my wheel foam soap (Brake Buster) and another for foaming the car body. Yes, pricey, but they are in line with other high-end cannons. I use the off-white metering insert in the ball-weight for max foam, and it looks like Christmas in the summer time in my driveway. I can't recommend the BOSS highly enough.

MTM pressure washer nozzles are prone to rusting so bad they become completely plugged & unusable if left in storage for the winter. It’s funny how they say they use 316 stainless yet in actual practice with steady contact with fresh non acidic water it proves to be inferior to 304. None of our equipment will ever come in contact with salt water nor does anyone run acidic water through their hoses, so there’s absolutely no need or benefit in using 316 and real world use shows 304 does not suffer from the rust issues that can and will plague 316 stainless. This is 1 of those situations where some in the detailing industry outsmarted themselves and fixed something that wasn’t broken.

i still cant believe Matt is still playing with foam cannon..by now he should atleast get suttner down stream foamer..nevermind the lafferty airless foamers..
@wd8005 Жыл бұрын
Suttner foamer doesn’t produce thick foam with the most common pressure washer that people have in their garage. Somebody in YT already tested the Suttner with a Kranzle and it comes out as just soapy water kinda like what you would get out of a garden hose foamer. Suttner foamer will work if you have enough pressure & flow to support it for example Chem X. They use Suttner foamer on a 2500 psi 3.5gpm pressure washer and it works great but on your common pressure washer not so much.

THERE IS MANY MANY DIFFERENT SUTTNER FOAMERS..NOT JUST "CHEM X@@wd8005

I’m glad you made the switch it’ll force mtm and other companies to innovate and not just around. They got too comfortable and if we’re being honest the mtm compared to the griots is far behind,the threads were terrible and the opening was too darn small.

What will force mtm to innovate? Haven’t they already been doing so? Nothing crazy but they have made minor updates to products and have released some new products over the past year or so?

I did a 12x16 last October similar to this. It was an awesome experience, and accomplishment. I built my own doors and did the little pigeon nest thing on the front though.

I’ve had this cannon for some time, imo the newer version is better. Better performance with a lesser gpm washer.

been using the Griots Foam cannon for a while now. Never ever liked the MTM (small opening was the WORST design ever). Bought the MTM years ago and honestly never liked it. I actually threw it away 2 weeks after buying it. Griots is the one to have.

I think the MTM is still tried and true. I just sold my original one from when it first came out. They are pretty bulletproof.

@@ObsessedGarageRubbish. Provide evidence to back up your claims Matt. Foam Cannons have been off patent for years.

You can't be that stupid: mjjc.com is the evidence. Pretty much every product on there is a rip off.

Total ripoff of the Griots Boss cannon.

It's fine. I think the Griot's is a worthy upgrade.
