Great comparison man! All of those go into my top 5. I compared the new active to the mjjc prov2 (same head as the sv3) and I got better performance with the mjjc. But like you, it was super close. If you have an active id go with the active for the cohesiveness, but the mjjc seemed like its got slightly better foam especially when using it on a ryobi with the 1.1

One thing I really don’t like about the MTM is how easy it is to adjust the foam pattern and I feel everyone that starts spraying it, it’s always somehow on the wrong setting lol. MJJC and Active definitely look the best though and I appreciate the weighted straw. I wonder why they decided to go with full threads unlike the MJJC half turn but looks like a great cannon nonetheless.

@@FineDetailingAZ I agree with you on how you calculated the ratio, and that is definitely sufficient for washing. I'm just saying they have said in multiple videos the 2 oz to the full canon or 1 oz to 1/2 canon is the ratio designed for high foam production. Also, when you think about it the Griots metering straw uses a lot more product if it is pulling a 1:10 ratio. That would be over 1.5 oz in a 1/2 canon

Griots soaps are thinner and GSF is thicker so I’d like to do a test of how much I actually use per car. Dear ACTIVE: If it’s not leak tight…it’s the end. All that means is it’s going to pull in air and decrease pressure, meaning less foam. I’ve gone through this with several of these manufacturers and I send them right back as soon as they leak. There should be an O-ring and there should be no leakage from the screw on area. In order for the “foam” concept to work “properly” there needs to be positive pressure in the vestibule.
@FineDetailingAZАй бұрын
@@Jimmer-Space88 thanks for watching! Agreed, shouldn’t be any leaking. They are sending me a new one so we’ll see.

Great comparison! Looks like a solid offering from Active and if you were in the market for a new foam cannon it’s definitely one to consider. Though no need to rush out if you have one of the others you compared.

Thanks for watching Patrick! I agree really solid offering from Active. Nicely made.
@waterhose4130Ай бұрын
Bruh.... The Active matches your ride. Darth Foam Cannon. The leaks are from air ports. It needs to suck in air to foam, or release air so it doesn't build up too high... i guess. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, i do radiation physics not engineering, lol
@FineDetailingAZАй бұрын
Darth foam cannon...hahaha. Per the website " In addition, the bottle is leak-free, with a 1000ml capacity, and comes with a flexible tube and stainless steel weight ball." It's fine, even the griots leaks a bit. Maybe they mean the screw on lid is leak free? That would be odd because every cannon is leak free at the thread. It always leaks at the sprayer.

@ yea, that’s kinda where I was going. But everyone likes a long list of features, right? Hey, I gave the KCX QS a full ride around the car, I see what you see. 48* outside, and not a glitch.

One thing does the mtm eat up solution like the mjjc? To be fair, I do have 650 TDS I know that does impact things. Then again, you saw how much GSF foamed with the metering tip. I should have just done an OZ per canon but I still think we were able to see the difference....I hope.

I don't think thicker is better, too thick and it just falls off the paint. I want it to dwell. Also, thanks? I was just trying to get it on the paint quickly for the video.

There’s a lot of miss information in your video man. I’m sorry and your test results are not valid because you’re using improper methods for testing and I’m going to explain why ..when you’re using a very low quality pressure washer it’s going to produce good quality results. I can tell just based on the sound of the motor I’m pretty sure it’s a Janky Chinese made pressure washer. You’re using a cheap low-grade auto wash soap..if you were going to do a comparison of suds, why didn’t you use a high-quality soap from Gtechnic, Gyeon, or CarPro or Adams polishes with proper dilution? Why didn’t you give the specs of your pressure washer showing a fancy gun and pairing it to a cheap pressure washer does not equal good results.
@FineDetailingAZ17 күн бұрын
lol it’s clear you are confused but thanks for watching. I have an active 2.0 that puts out real world numbers of 980 PSI and 1.92 gpm. I’m using a 1.25 orafice in my cannon. And DIY detail is not a low quality soap. I followed the dilution directions exactly as suggested. The active is a widely used pressure washer in this industry. Miss information? lol ok It's clear you live in your own little bubble and only an AR or Kranzle are the best and the soaps you listed....just because you haven't tried the soap I'm using doesn't make it low quality it's just unknown to you. The surfactant package alone rivals carpro reset. Gyeon and Adams don't even come close. If you're going to troll at least come correct.
