Zach has done the same thing his entire career at Purdue. He's defended Jaden Ivey, Braden Smith and others in the exact same way. Gary put it perfectly. He won't start anything but he'll definitely finish it if he has to.

Agreed... at Purdue he also never lost his cool and fouled anyone hard or with malice that I can remember... so he never dished it out or played dirty.... but he also never took any crap...

The Edey haters (or even the "ambivalent ones") hopefully start realizing that not only was Zach a smart pick at#9, he was a steal. This guy is a generally quiet, massively humble, incredibly hard working dude who's only been playing basketball for 6 years. For 7'5" he's incredibly athletic and coordinated and still learning. Plus he's the kind of guy who LOVES his team and teammates. Oh yeah, he's also a 300 pound ex-hockey player, so yeah, Eubanks, back the fk up!!!😅
