I hope more people continue to find music like this. Never let this type of music die.

🌹🥀🌷 The Ground is part of the Sunrise Mass by Norwegian born composer Ola Gjeilo. Because of that I assume it is for Lutheran. Don;t get your hopes up that the complete mass is as good as The Ground. The Orthodox churches (Greek, Russian, ...) have the Liturgy which is similar to the Mass but there is no celebration of the Eucharist. For the song you want from there it is Tchaikovsky's Hymn of the Cherubim. For other music similar to the music of my NDE try Herb Ernst (Angel Wings where Unita sings), Michel Pépé (latest album is La Vallée Céleste (The Celestial Valley), 2002 (the Copus family of father, mother and daughter are the core), Frederic Delarue (he had an NDE) and some others. I had two NDE Spanish people with Michel Pépé. One got tired of communicating with a deceased female relative by just thought (similar to Dasiy Dryden communicating with her deceased brother Allie as she lay dying over a three day period) and he asked her to use Espanol. Near, and death are both A.S. (Anglo-Saxon) and Experience is Late Latin so they do not use those words. So the other NDE Spanish person used these words in his reply "cuando deje mi cuerpo" (when I left my body). So both him and me (and maybe others) have heard the heavenly music. Join me and others in the search for the rest. 🌱🌲🌳

When I hear choral music like this; when I hear human voices combining to create sound so ethereal and serene I weep when I realise the human voice is also capable of cruelty, bigotry and lies. I have not heard this piece before so my heart is soaring on an early winter's morning in Australia...already the weak sun seems brighter and warmer. I would love this music to be the soundtrack of my day.

@@gerdavanbaaijen6471 I provided my best translation of "The Ground" from Late Latin to English at the top level awaiting something much better from people whose knowledge of Late Latin with a spiritual slant is better than mine and the top level for the UBC version. You want the best for something like this and mine is not good enough.

This is the best performance of "The Ground" that I've heard. For me, it has the right speed, the right amount and age of voices. I can hear the piano and the men. The recording is scratchy, though. Do you have a better recording I can download? I ache to have this version clearly. Your version makes me happy. Thank you

🌹🥀🌷 Since I heard this version of The Ground only recently I do not know what it used to sound like. I just wished it like the two others (the one from Western Washington will no longer play for me - KZbin problem?) start too softly and you have to turn up the volume. Maybe you only get stereo with their premium service now. Being poor that rules me out. That is sad because this is such a divine piece of music. 🌱🌲🌳

Until a Catholic priest, Catholic num, or Lutheran priest gives a better translation from Latin to English (in Heaven they talk with their think) here is mine for this celestical music: Lyrics - Latin (English): Pleni sunt coeli et terra glorian tua.
