I can't really put my appreciation for Ole Gjeilo's oeuvre into words. But frankly, this is possibly the most moving piece he has written until now. Uplifting, quieting, comforting.

maybe in a longer, ode-ish kind of way. there's needed room for that of course. But my vote goes to Sacred Heart as the most hopeful, moving piece.

So beautiful, the church acoustics and the dispersal of the choir around the church works so well for the piece. It must have been a magical experience for those there.

I am listening to this as I work in my home during the pandemic and it has nearly brought me to tears. I had to put my head in my hands and just listen. This is stunningly beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with the world. I hope you know how much it means to me and others looking for peace and calm in a time of uncertainty.

Without the score in front of me, I cannot comment on the tempo used by this conductor. I will say, it seemed to fit the context of the piece. Might a different tempo be acceptable? I would say yes, it is up to the conductor to come to terms with the composers wishes. Oh, and what a glorious place to perform. And the cello, well, what can one say. Simply amazing. Just the right amount of tension and passion with each pull of the bow. I shall reserve comment on the conductors style with a simple nod to each their own. I loved it. Listened three times in a row and made new discoveries with each hearing. Those in the room listening seemed to be swept up in the beauty of the piece. Yes, Ola is amazing. Love his work.

The prelude to serenity, if Christ knows your name. What the rapture will probably sound like for those who are redeemed. The only way to describe this beautiful composition.

A nice piece of music. Played and sung very good. And even a greater work regarding to the conductor making a race in front of the musicians. Hey, good boy! Calm down. Half of the beats will do VERY fine. THAT is the music.

For all men were by nature foolish who were in ignorance of God, and who from the good things seen did not succeed in knowing him who is, and from studying the works did not discern the artisan; But either fire, or wind, or the swift air, the governors of the world, they considered gods. Now if out of joy in their beauty they thought them gods, let them know how far more excellent is the lord than these; for the original source of beauty fashioned them. Or if they were struck by their might and energy. let them from these things realize how much more powerful is he who made them. For from the greatness and the beauty of created things their original author, by analogy, is seen But yet, for these the blame is less; For they indeed have gone astray perhaps, though they seek God and wish to find him. For they search busily among his works, but are distracted by what they see, because the things seen are fair. But again, not even these are pardonable. For if they so far succeeded in knowledge that they could speculate about the world, how did they not more quickly find its Lord? Jesus O Savior I know not if you are real Come Come live in me .. Save me ! Amen and Amen ............. Revelations The Spirit and the bride say. "Come." Let the hearer say, "Come." Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants receive the gift of life giving water.
