DG Kelley is fantastic. He tells the whole story, with history, morals, and beautiful wording. Thanks, so glad I now know about him. Palestine Inside Out is also one of my bibles.

Brilliant conversation. I particularly appreciate the way the conversation shifts backand forth from fascinating details of African American engagement with Palestine and Israel to global-picture analysis and historical comparison.

1:16:24 wow I just realized Robin correctly predicated the rise of tension of Afro pessimism and Palestinian liberation that would come about when Kamala became the presidential candidate 😮

Three good-looking brothers telling us the truth! Yeah! Of course I Like every posting and I Subscribed the first time I saw you - when you interviewed the remarkable Hana Ashrawi. And I am coming back for more. The silver lining is this Middle East tragedy is the world waking up and coming together to denounce the atrocities and to dig as deep as we can to uncover the truth. I am so impressed with younger generations around the world. It gives me hope for the future of humanity. Namaste 🙏

On Kelley's point of the length of UNRWA's life, if we reckon ON AVERAGE 3 million refugees for 76 years we get 228,000,000 REFUGEE YEARS. I think this outstrips all other refugee situations ever.

Kelley gets better and better. By the way, Stokely Carmichael in 1972 I think it was gave a talk where he goes into Israel's being a settler-colonial state.

it's crazy to me how little reach your podcast gets on youtube - is it any wider on other platforms? i've been trying to share it around but the view counts are still shockingly low considering the richness of the content

I'm so sick of this story of a non-existent difference between zionism and brutal Israeli policies, and bi-nationalism and Jews like Buber who were oh, so generous to the poor Palestinians. OMG, that is all so stale. No fault of the Makdisi brothers or Kelley, but one of you, please, call out the erasure and this complicated Judeocentric stuff! Just remind us that we can think and feel Palestine-centric, please.

People, this channel is so excellent and so desperately needed and needs to reach a wider audience, so please subscribe to it (hit the subscribe button) because it costs you nothing, and hit the like button of each episode (that too costs you nothing), because that helps the channel grow and reach a wider audience AND "beat" the shadow-banning algorithm of KZbin which, I am sure, does everything it can to suppress the reach of the channel!
