its interesting to watch even with the fog, you track how many attacks and how many are attacking based purely on the animation of the dice. Its something that you may not notice if your not a top player.

I've been getting into RISK lately and it's been tons of fun. In the begginer level tho, there is SO MUCH bad neighbor, literally every game I see players killing their own game just to prevent a bonus. It just happened to me a few times in a row, getting a bonus and then another novice suiciding into me, losing us both the game. And I know, to win myself, I have to try to trust neigbhors and put my stack in another spot (cold war would also be very bad for both of us long term), but If i do that I just get bad neighbord all over again. Is there anyone (not just pete) that can help me with what to do in this scenario?

That’s just the level of luck in this game. There’s really no option when you get a dumb dumb next to you. My only advice is when that happens you get the satisfaction of killing your bad neighbor.

Don't guard against them is my tip. If they gunna break they will hit your 6 or whatever. Just let them break and lose 1 instead.

Why did you not hit the blue cap second turn when it was a 1? You could see the fortify go to a different territory. You might have just missed it but I’m wondering if there was some strategy to make a friend in blue

Sometimes I do that. Honestly there really isn't much difference between a beginner and a novice in this game.
