There was a scum bag in Tillamook country responsible for wrecking summer steelhead & salmon runs using explosives and gill nets, he died in the North Fork Nehalem river. This crook was Jim Erickson and Glorified poacher and shielded by the local cops from any crimes he committed

Steelhead do feed in fresh water. People think they don't because the upper rivers are not productive enough to provide sufficient forage.

The absolute best steelhead fishing one can experience. Guides do a super job also with the fund raisers and brood stock. Thanks for the Memories.
