As someone from the middle east I always eat dates, everyone should try it, I also know non middle easterners muslims across the world have it as its a habit from Ramadhan and trade since it is really recommended by the prophet Muhammad S.A.W to have. Its a fruit, but it doesnt taste like other fruits it tastes like syrup sweet in a raisin looking shape and its very healthy, but also sweet and a good substitute to sugar so Im glad to see they are starting to have it in Korea aswell
