there really should be a channel comparing this to the guild 2 explaining first the experience of the former game in the series, for instance, I found it tedious, it's relatively easy to be very succesfull in the game but it's also damn easy to mess up completely for dumb reasons. tg2r offered little in the way of ironically that holds especially true if you decided to rather not micromanage everything and instead let the ai run some businesses, essentially you can make great money by building up a closed circuit in which you produce both the resources and the final products, but the thing is that you swiftly realise that that requires you to set up custom trade routes and redo them constantly as prices change and your facilities improve, (use ai and it will decide to buy all the carts) the game requires to much work to keep organised and enjoy it. do not take me wrong, the concept is awesome, running a 15th century business empire is an amazing concept, add to that all the extras, the political offices, the laws, the backstabbing, .... and it only gets that much better. my point being, did tg3 fix the major issues 2 had

Guild 3 works now but still the fun stuff is missing that was in guild 2.Half the fun was watching them move about inside their homes and businesses.

I loved Guild 1 because it had emphasis on the being the medieval entrepreneur. But it was kind of half baked when it came to the social aspect. They did courting/romance better there IMO. The Guild 2 was aware of mock up in social level so they went more in direction of The Sims medieval but still with emphasis on businesses as primary goal. The Guild 3 is honestly much more trying and failing IMO to be a new The Sims Medieval. The main thing that carried the title have been ruined. Its tedious if you do it all manually and if you let AI do it than its boring and you have very little to do but wait until enough money have been accumulated or the elections are announced. To me, the maps are too big. Since i am binding my time with manual trading from market to market do the size of the maps that process is not fun to do at all as it sometime take entire season to finish the run. Guild 1 hit all the right notes for me. Guild 2 hit few right notes for me. Guild 3 hit almost all the wrong notes for me. I am not sure that even the devs themself were on clear about what this game should be about.
