I loved the Guild 2 and it's variants, and kept waiting for this to come out. When 3 was released, several years late, it was unplayable buggy garbage - more like a proof of concept than a full game. They have been slowly improving it to the point that it is functional and starts to resemble the Guild 2, but it still isn't as fun and does not have some quality of life interface enhancements that 2 had (for example, multi-select on characters). Overall I think I would have more fun on a more bug-fixed version of the Guild 2, though I will say at this point it is playable and since it's finally of of Early Access you should not longer have to worry about your save files becoming unplayable because they released a minor patch.

Ellen throws around the accusation of murder way too casually; her people were only being savagely beaten, brutalized, hunted, and harassed by Luke. He was making a point to never kill any of his victims, because he prefers to torment them endlessly. And to be fair, Ellen was the one to officially declare the dynastic feud before anyone got their bones broken or any bombs got thrown at shops, and it was all over a simple street fight that ended with a dozen coins pilfered.

After watching this I had to install my old copy of The Guild 2 and play it for the first time in years. It did not go well. We got off to a rough start economically.
