I love the project! Nature produces amazingly beautiful materials that are literally laying around waiting for a person with vision and skills to breathe life into them. I hope that this kind of craftsmanship takes hold and is supported by a growing number of consumers. I'm getting my green feet wet in found materials crafting. This video is inspiring!

A fire here destroyed 60,000 acres and over 200 homes 3 1/2 years ago. Soon our home, made of fire-killed wood milled on the site will be completed. Hooray for re-using trees who have had their lives shortened by fire...and bringing them back as useful objects!
