This was fun. Nothing like grabbing a couple guitar nerd buddies to spend an afternoon at the guitar shop. Part of what makes a good life worth living. Thank you for this video! Love your channel!

Thanks so much for this video. I really enjoyed this field trip to Swee Lee’s new location. Perhaps you can go back another time to take us on a tour, talk to some of the staff, and hear more about the store’s legacy and history. In the future, it would be interesting if you could take us on trips to other guitar shops, factories, recording studios, and other spots for musicians around Singapore. I absolutely enjoy your content at your home base, but you have a unique opportunity to share places and events in Singapore that guitarists would find interesting. You’re the first English speaking guitar KZbinr in Singapore that I’ve come across, and you should leverage that opportunity. I love learning about guitar culture and history in other countries, as do many other guitar nerds out there. I appreciate your well-thought videos! Your channel is like higher education for guitar. Your KZbin future is bright!

Look forward to checking it out next time I'm down from HK - hopefully in a few months. Bought a nice Yamaha from Swee Lee back in the early '90s.

Deym! What a great guitar store.🔥The guitars makes me drool with their sheer beauty.🤤 In your last video about "GAS," I promised myself that I will never buy a guitar again, I have 15 guitars and about to buy my 16th, But if for some reason I will be able to go there or even by some fate. I have to break or violate that promise, even if I spend my last salary, I will surely buy that "Heritage" Sunburst LP, "Jackson Broderick" or any of the "PRS Custom 24".😅 I know GAS is just a "Hedonic treadmill", one's you acquire and have the desired guitar, dopamine fades.....but the guitars seem to be calling you personally to "buy me please."🤭 when you know what your holding is a rare beautiful work of art, It's a must-have at all circumstance, GAS will always win!✌💯

This guitar store is definitely dangerous for GAS

@@ministryofguitar Haha, absolutely.😂 I know I am being sold a "neurological lie.", I know it's just a "hedonic treadmill", I know the "dopamine rush" will fade. BUT If given an opportunity, I will still surely buy it, without even thinking of the financial consequence, damn if It's my last salary. I MUST and SHOULD have the light Blue or the Red "PRS Custom 24" or the "Heritage Sunburst" at ALL COST.🤭 That's How powerful the call of GAS. My justification is those beautiful guitars are not just an instrument but like acquiring a unique and rare "work of Art".😄so GAS all the way.👌🔥

One of the best pickups I've heard or tried in recent times is the neck position in the SE 594.

Did you say Swee Lee and Heritage are owned by the same company? I’d love to hear more if I understood that correctly.

And once you have visited that, you can stop by the one in River Valley. We have two exclusive collections that you can play with #nikka and #hibiki

" Im too young for a Gretch." This cracked me up. Because I am in agreement, although the thought is admittedly perhaps not so based in any objective truth so much as vibe and gut check intuition. Hell, Billy Duffy of the CULT was cool as sh$t rockin a 6136 White Falcon back in the late 80's and beyond. Fire Woman. She Sell's Sanctuary. Love Removal Machine...he had the cool factor for sure.

Have you ever checked out the Maestro acoustic shop over there? I have one and it’s one of the easiest playing acoustics I’ve ever owned. They look fantastic as well.
@ministryofguitar6 ай бұрын
Yes I am very aware of Maestro and first checks them out almost 20 years ago . They are great. The reason I don’t fasn about them much is that I’m not much of an acoustic player

@@ministryofguitar Wow, I had no idea they were around for that long. Thank for the reply! You're shining light on so many deeper topics within the guitar world that I've been dying for someone to cover, and you're arguments are very well rounded. Keep it up my friend 🙂

Tried the Jackson San Dimas in black over shocking pink heavy relic. Had such a cool, 80s hot-rodded strat vibe... plugged into a Victory Kraken, it sent me straight back to the heady days of innocence and Hair Metal! Am hankering after a Jazzmaster so tried the sole piece they had there, a FCS '59 Journeyman Relic. Was pretty good, but $9.3k for a team built piece? Nahhhh... FCS prices are getting outta hand 🙄 Still, might consider commissioning one to my very own specifications... 🤔 Ohh please god help meeee!!! 😖
