Hey guys, as most of you know, we lost a true guitar hero earlier this week. Here is a video of one of my favorite solo of his, it's from the song "The Warrior Princess" by Sinergy.

21 year old Alexi. Super insane to think he was playing at this level when he was 16 (when the first album was written). The man was a child prodigy. RIP to the GOAT

The first Inearthed album is from 1994 so he was 14 or 15, really insane

This was not 21 yo Alexi. Alexi was already 24 when Roope joined the band. He was 20 years old when he recorded the Tokyo Warhearts album, which in itself is pretty crazy. The quality of the album is legendary and the whole bands' intricacy throughout the show just shows why COB is one of the best live bands to exist.

They discussed the idea of assembling a female-fronted metal band, but were unable to achieve this due to time constraints. When Kimberly quit Dimmu Borgir and moved to Sweden, she decided that it was time to turn her project with Strömblad into a reality. Alexi should be able to worth, and remain far from scorn in that way too the partner that accompany him all over his youngness, Roope Latvala. We agree was composer and genius, a talent of nature, and his guitar dance and f*ck with Janne Wirman keyboard notes, but Roope always were there, offering harmony, rythmics, company, complementation, brotherhood. He always will shine, but one part of that bloom, pertains to Roope. Estamos de acuerdo en que era compositor y genio, un talento de la naturaleza, y en que su guitarra de engarzaba y se retorcía contra las notas que salían del teclado de Janne Wirman, pero Roope siempre estuvo ahí, desde el principio, ofreciéndole harmonía, rítmicas, acompañamiento, complementación, compañerismo, hermanamiento. @@thewildchildhun0122 yep, Alexi, Roope, and Kim Goss. wrote some great power metal together on those albums (though Warrior Princess was on the first album with Jesper from In Flames in rhe second guitar slot). Warrior Princess, Gallowmere, and Written In Stone have been mainstays in my playlists for over 15 years.
