When I first got into hardcore So-Cal punk in the early 80s they were definitely my favorite band. Some would say they weren't exactly a ' punk 'band, and they would have a point to some degree..but they definitely did have that dark, nihilistic energy that drew me to hardcore punk, I loved them.

Jeffrey really had the exact same "sweet spot" as Bob Stinson... without any drugs or alcohol in him, he was nervous and self-conscious onstage, and with one beer too many, he'd completely fall apart. But get him right into that perfect, slightly-dead-eyed range that is clearly obvious here, and he'd belt out a performance for the ages. The brightest lights always burn out the fastest, sadly.

Could not take my eyes all night and she knew it too, my stares were so bad that she felt it. I went with another girl she was next to me and probably made the girl next to me uncomfortable. At the end she only charged me the girl drinks but not my beers, was so surprised.
