I really like how Bandai have recently been a lot more open about showing how they operate and pushing new technology recently. For example the 1:1 scale gundam and the awesome visual effects they put into their displays. Unfortunately they didn't allow recording of it but at the Gunpla Expo last year they had this amazing glass projection thing going on with the PG Unicorn, displaying information on the glass cabinet like it was freakin' Star Trek. Never seen anything like it before. Keep up the good work Bandai!

I've built scale plastic models my whole life, but only bought my first Bandai Gundam kit a month ago, a Master Grade 1/100 Strike Rouge. I was floored by the exquisite level of engineering and detail put into this kit. I didn't really buy the "no glue needed" approach, but was quickly set straight by the extremely tight tolerances in each piece. This video makes it very clear that Bandai aren't playing around. I will be getting more of these kits that I used to overlook as toys.
@lecarespin3 жыл бұрын
I truly appreciate all the time and effort these hardworking men are putting in to make these. That is why I hardly complain when I build or paint a gunpla no matter how fragile (e.i. RG Zeta), stiff (older gunpla), and/or has tons of paint requirements a kit has.
@Rena1526 жыл бұрын
I'm more of a WWII vehicle modeler, I mainly make aircraft. But one day I was gifted a Striker gunpla and decided to give it a try Needless to say I am amazed by the engineering that was put on the design of these kits; all pieces snap correctly in place, the plastic feels smooth, you don't even have to glue or paint them they look nice anyways I also know the japanese take pride in their work so I trust they will keep delivering the same quality and detail for their models for generations to come, I'm even considering watching some gundam anime so I can find cool gunplas to build next. Kudos to Bandai and their commitment!

@bongmonkey1176 жыл бұрын
people that buy bootlegs don't care about that stuff. For them it's primarily a cost issue, where I live a 1/100 MG cost between $80 and $100+ depending on the store or how new the kits are. older one usually on the lower end and newer being higher. For some it'san availability issue. they either can a kit or Bandai hasn't made it yet but there's a bootleg version already. not sayin these things make it ok just that they're the most common reasons people buy bootlegs, I'm sure there's other reasons too.
