Six years ago I had the opportunity to tour this museum. It was incredibly cool. It is paradise for a gun-lover.

@20:20 This may be the best artifact around for resolving the ‘Ol “M1 GHER-und” versus “M1 Ghah-RAND” argument. Looks like my dear old Dad, and his DI, had it right...

It literally does nothing to "resolve" it, his name was pronounced Gair-end, not Guh-rand. This video gets it wrong like everyone else

Except they literally call the man Guh-rand in the video. He did not pronounce his name that way, do simple research to find out how he wanted it pronounced. I don’t care what his family now pronounces it, they had nothing to do with the rifle. So your point is invalid and irrelevant

York used a 1917 Enfield, not a Springfield.
