I think my dad worked on some of those cars. Bob Ormiston, I have some pictures of old cars he built or helped build. He was a painter back then but did custom cars and I'm trying to find out who he worked for. Ed Roth, George Barris, I think I have pictures of both guys cars in my dad old pictures. I know that at his funeral he was looked up upon like the fonz of cool car guys from hundreds of his friends. R.I.P pops!

He used to have a sweet 32 roadster rumble seat with a 392 Hemi and 3 carbs and a 2 speed trans with aluminum flywheel. He welded washers onto the cam lobes to make it bigger and faster. He used to tell me that when changing from low to high gear the car would flex so much the doors would pop open lol. They used to go to Poulsbo to go outrun the cops for fun every weekend. He also had a bunch of Corvettes. Orange 63 splitwindow, he painted it orange at his bosses shop and orange overspray was everywhere he told me lol. He was a real hoot. Miss you dad.

If it wasn't for Ed "Big Daddy" Roth I wouldn't be the gear head I am today! I already have a tattoo of Rat Fink in the 40 Willys on my right calf and just found the next Roth car for my tribute tat.
