damp practice on slicks! i'll never forget my 1st experience being on a damp track on slicks. slid off the very 1st corner 😅 then a trackside sign hoarding fell on my head when my impact pushed the tyre barriers back just enough to push it over...💀 its been way too long, how does the starting positions work? if you finished P2 in heat 1, how does that decide yr starting position for heat 2 etc? i do enjoy you starting from further back haha, makes for more exciting watching. Congrats on winning the 0-plate!

Yep - wets are illegal in our series. One set of slicks for the entire season!

Congrats on the O plate. Looking forward to meeting you guys next season, just ordered my boys transponder and will register him as soon as its here. I believe the juniors can run the SLW's on damp tracks ? I would love to join in but at 110kg i am not sure i could stand coming last every race 😂

Thanks Neil! I think there’s a chance that juniors will also have to use slicks in all conditions but best to ask James the organiser as I’m not sure

Ik how to not be an annoying guy on track and for example when you turn quite a sharp right go to the far left and come in as you turn
@BradPhilpot Жыл бұрын
@@bentlivelia6136I’ve never even heard of that one! OK well at 48kg, you’re light enough to break every lap record, so that’s a great start. Get yourself comfortable with a seat insert. Probably adjust the seat all the way forward. Aim to slide as little as possible. Your target is barely any rear sliding at every corner. Don’t give away any distance at apexes (I’m talking super tight to the barriers everywhere). Remember the tyres will get better and better all the way through your session, so make sure every lap is better than the previous one. Keep working out where you could have done better on every single lap. Try to make sure you know why your best lap was your best lap. And good luck!
