I mean I don’t powder coat things. But I had something done before, and even I knew to plug the holes. It’s just common since. @BradPhilpot
@BradPhilpot 2 күн бұрын
If you mean stock as in a generator engine - probably too many differences to go into. The engines have to be the race version, built and sealed by one of the designated engine builders like RPM / GXT etc. You can get them second hand for around £450 on eBay for example.

Now go get a engine from 98 as well, FA or FSA, and then go race it... You will experience a way of karting better than anything... Its amazing! Still attract various kart legends and top race drivers out in those cus of how amazing it is... GET IN !! ! ! ! At least what you do is not in the right directly... Now just all about going up in category within that era ;) 8-9 August, 100cc, Euro GP, all the best top drivers of the 100 series from around europe, its the biggest event in all europe.. Vojens, Denmark... Yes, bigger than anything Uk and italy or any other can come up with running the historic karts.. TRY IT ;)

Its like Group C on Nordschleife, instead of WTCR on Nordschleife ( Just to make a weird example 😀) It really is raw and next level karting... Its not for fun its refered to as the golden era of karting... And, its very affordable, and it exists in Uk as well, and when you feel your up for it, then bulk transport trips to Europe for bigger events is possible as well... It basicly is the top categori of international karting, but from 25-30 years back... Next level...

While in college I was a part time house painter to make some extra cash. One day during physics class I realized if you applied a charge at the tip of a paint sprayer...and a different charge on the surface, you could... Then I found out the process was patented in the 1940s. So I had to do my homework after all. Looking forward to the reveal.

Hi Brad, not sure if you were able to fix the pedal screws issue, but if I were you I would try the following: 1 - Let's say the bolt is 8mm diameter. With a 10mm drill bit, drill a hole (paralel to the ground) from one side to the other. 2 - Ask a friend with a lathe to machine a brass or aluminiun bushing with say 9.99mm OD and 8.01 ID. 3 - Insert the bushing through the hole, maybe with some loctite to keep it in place 4 - put the bolt through the hole that now should be paralel Does that make sense ? Sorry for butting in but I think bending the bolt will cause you lots of issues. Let me know what you think.

Side pod bar mounts- we had to fabricate a new one from galvanised 20mm conduit tube and a pipe bender, we then made elbow plates. The plates were bolted to the side pods, only then did we tig the elbows to the mounted pod bar, fits perfect and it's level to the ground
