xoxLeexox you should do free wisdom teeth too. I can't tell you how much I've been trying to find a way to see a dentist, I'm 20 and never been to a dentist in my life. There are a lot of homeless youth who's teeth get crooked and are very painful from wisdoms growing in because we can't see doctors. It's hell.

I love this so much, many people just look past the homeless. Every year around christmas, me and my family makes a whole bunch of bags with sandwiches, water, snacks, socks and sometimes gloves. It's so great the feeling you get after helping someone in need. I apreciate people like this.

Yesterday I got my work check 1000 dollars I was so proud of myself and I was gonna spend it on something real nice (I didn’t actually know what I wanted) then I stumbled on a homeless family a woman and her two daughters newborn and toddler I talked to them and learned how hard life is homeless and being a single mom I ended up giving that 1000 dollars to that family now my salary is at 1500(if you do good you get good) I always give them 100 for when they need it I get it was a little selfish of me to keep more but I just had a daughter and having a newborn is way more tough then I thought and she had surgery so I’m paying my bills of (I’m also a single mom I have a nanny my niece she lives across the street )

i wouldnt do that if i were you. a lot of times people are homeless because theyve spent their money on the wrong things and continue to do so. like drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, even lotto tickets. i once gave this homeless man $5 and as i was sitting in a cafe across the street looking out the window, he went and bought a lottery ticket at the corner store... i mean really??? dont give so much of the money you work for to someone who most likely made poor financial decisions with their money to get in the situation they are now. homeless shelters that provide care, food, beds, and security could use your $20-30. or another way to make more use of your money is to actually buy them the food, blankets, clothes, or hygiene products YOU HOPE theyre spending the money you give them on. that way your money is actually helping them instead of being potentially wasted.
