Man, this brings tears to my eyes. This guy was my first favorite player, before Cam. So happy for him making the hall. I really hope someone on the current panthers roster can become so meaningful to a generation of young fans. Peppers was the man. Words can’t describe what he means to the panthers. He was it.

🫡. As being from NC. I watched this man all through college basketball and football as I have always been a Tar Heel ;). I am honored to have been able to watch his entire career through college and the NFL. I knew when I saw him play as a freshman in college he was A ONE IN A MILLION. !!! 💯. He lived up too the HYPE AND SO MUCH MORE. !!! I am honored as a Panther Fan since Day 1 to have witnessed his career as I learned so much just WATCHING his gameplay. 🫡 to you Julius !!!! I hope people remember Pepp and the way he was treated when it comes to Burns. Pepp was the silent assassin. He wasn't loud or overly brash... But damn if he didn't give us his all every down. Homegrown Carolina and will always be one of our favorite sons. Congratulations Pepp and thank you so much for forgiving us and coming back. Enjoy Sunday and see ya in Canton VERY soon.

Like they said at the end...Pep was generational. And to combine it with this wonderful personality of humility and kindness is the perfect compliment. I love these Hall of Honor programs and special thanks to Tepper for organizing them, real talk, and I love seeing the people that have consistently created special memories for all of us like Jake and Moose and the others, but it's fairly accepted that if the Panthers get any new players in the HOF - aside from the late Sam Mills - it's gonna be 89 and 90 first. Maybe Luke will be first ballot. Hope so but I don't know. But what I love about them is how there's this perfect almost cliche hollywood-movie esque dichotomy between those two. Their builds and their personalities but they were still the cornerstones of the franchise and brought it so many much needed fans early on. Very many will say Steve was the heart and soul and best Panther ever and there's nothing wrong with that, they're right. But it's apples and oranges, I think. Very easy to make the argument that it's Pep. I mean it's all speculation and doesn't really matter to anyone except us fans. But he was the type of player you could build a franchise around. I love those two guys, that whole 2000's team. And I hadn't seen that video of Pep and Cam at 16:50, that was awesome to see. And I think that's also the truly best graphic for showing us just how big Cam is and understand why it was mentioned by commentators in literally every game he ever played in lol, Cam's huge if he's not being dwarfed by Peppers...and he's a QB 😂

He kicked our ass (UMD) in ball both ways and looking for a team as a kid that wasn’t redskins or ravens to be “different” came Carolina and that man JP. Been a diehard since day one and Pepp is still in my top 5 favorite Panthers of all time. Having said that, he is probably the most decorated Panther of all time. Agent 89 is my all-time #1 and Kuechly may be 2 but Pepp is definitely 3 at worst. Keep Pounding forever!
