Halloween is a shortening of All Hallow's Eve, which is the night before All Saint's Day. Further back then that, it comes from Celtic festival traditions. The Frankenstein and ghosts stuff is mostly comes from old back and white movies. Its just an aspect of our traditional European culture and I embrace it just as I do with Christmas, Easter and even Groundhog's Day which comes from the Christian festival of Candlemas and Celtic Imbolc. They're all just modernizations of old holidays, blendings of Christian and pre-Christian festivals seen through our modern cultural lens

This isnt' accurate. I break down the actual history. It was originally Samhain (Sow-ween) and then All Saints Day came years and years later.

@@FLFOREVER Worship is showing love and adoration. Without heart its empty. Paul speaks on this in Corinthians. For US its All Saints Eve.

@@FLFOREVER Speaks about a similar situation* Regarding ritual meat eating. "We are no worse off if we do not eat, no better off if we do,"

@@shoblu9599 That is specifically talking about meat sacrificed to idols-do not eat meat for coscious sake since it might have been sacrificed to idols. Again, no commonplace with what is presented here.

@@FLFOREVERYes and so there was a question of if eating meat is ok. Very similar. You're using the same logic Paul was questioned with. ITS WHATS IN YOUR HEART.
