Headed BACK to CHICAGO for Free Tour on February 5th! www.rsdfreetour.com - totally free event. I'll also be running a four full day premium event which is absolutely life changing, which you can find at www.4dayselfhelp.com (recommended if you want to fly into Chicago - spend the most time with me). This is a topic that has caused me tremendous grief in my life, and hopefully the distinctions here will serve you well. RIP to my hero Kobe Bryant, I commented on his passing on my instagram, and may comment further on KZbin. Tons more videos coming this month, let me know what you think of this one! I do appreciate your beautiful locations. Especially those marble things with that Trajan font. I mean I consciously use it as a benchmark of whether or not you're a loser. It was helpful social signalling and it helps me pay attention because it gives me a sense of luxury. I mean it even raises my self-esteem because it makes me feel clever to have found someone who shoots such beautiful films. I feel like if there was someone else in the room, I'd feel comfortable with them knowing I was listening to you and I could sell RSD to them as a business. It feels like having a high-status friend.

I just came from watching the Black Mirror episode "Nosedive" and it immediately reminded me of this video. Being honest "yuck yuck" is cool with buddies/family. But people still no matter what will see you thru the biological drive filter to recognize "Alpha traits". Meaning the things like "complaining, bad body language, being in reaction, not being sure of oneself, not having it "together" being overly emotional.. will still have an effect on the way one is perceived in the social world.

So, first of all THANK YOU to trive with so much energy and WILLINGNESS to teach us! And as i understood it's always about the middle ground! So there is a REAL VALUE and our TRUE SELF(inside) on one hand, and THE TOOLS that show others parts of our personality! These tools as our looks,eye contact, voice(anything external) create an image of ours in mind of others(which is in other words HALO EFFCET). SO, the main point here is that the mistake that most people do, is thinking " WHY DON'T THEY SEE MY TRUE SELF AND WHY DO I HAVE TO LEARN ALL THESE TECHIQUES " The truth is PEOPLE CAN'T and PROBABLY NOT SUPPOSED TO! So, it is awlays working on both ways ( inner and outter) Also, HALO EFFECT is not about putting up a mask and "using techniques", it is about the SKILLS. And want to say that, when it comes other people seeing and loving you for your true value, it is an indicator for you also, which show THEIR ABILITY TO BE ABLE TO SEE, that speaks a lot about them and so, YOU can DIFFER them from others and be more GREATFUL FOR THEM(part 7). Thank you!!!

I respect the clairvoyance you showed in the video about this topic, I think that fundamentally your advice is not healthy for most people. Rather than developing the skill to summon the halo effect, I think it's better to shift the focus onto the other person and think about how we can better their lives. Sure, you could make the argument that by summoning the halo effect, it makes them more engaged and overall improves their lives... but wouldn't it be simpler to just be interested in them? "Be interested, not interesting" -- that's a phrase I learned from a business coach. Although there will be a handful of guys and girls who will think less of you because you're interested in them, and they're looking for someone with a halo effect to adore, my opinion is that people who are in the mode of "I only give my RAS to halo people" aren't moving in the healthy direction. And feeding into that model by BEING that halo effect is only pushing them further down that path... If instead you are interested in who they are, it communicates that they don't need a halo effect to hold your attention. You just like them for who they are. And even though that may not make you lots of money or physical success, I think it's really quite a wonderful thing to give someone.

What you don't understand brother, and it's so sad how no one seems to get this, is that many people are simply unable to even mentally process dating someone who is good looking. Many of the most beautiful people in the world believe they are ugly. Many were abandoned by their fathers or mothers, and will only date older people who appear like the person who abandoned them - so no, it is not needed to be good looking to date someone who is good looking. At all. It is simply an excuse for losers who lack charisma and the courage to put themselves out there. -Tyler

Halfway thru.. going to finish but wanna say Damn, That’s a bold thing to digest.. Knowing that you have something to offer for EVERYONE, but also knowing that you’re unable to selectively operate on everyone at once. Like.. It’s ironic that you can be at a party and just be yourself; not have a need for instructing people and just be open and free.. and in concordance of that state being able to receive anyone and have that one on one exchange with virtually any human being, Owen. YET, for an actual discourse/transmission of love and imparting knowledge into others, and give even more to people, well that particular didactic FORCES you to HAVE to make sacrifices.. The concept is hard for me to accept.. It makes me think about the other great teachers throughout our history: The Buddha, Socrates, etc.. I would think that they were the type of people who could be taking a shit in front of you and still would not shift the “R.A.S” of their thousands or millions of followers.. and the fact that even they had to be aware of that social/interpersonal sacrifice... Socrates and/or Buddha might have been so “woke” that they might have seen it like it was OUR problem if we didn’t get them (you know, Circa 2,000+ years ago) But that kind of leads me to the next question: If you’re a teacher, which act is more compassionate? Vigilantly moving to change other people or waiting for them to be ready and coming to you even though you have the best marketing and ads to change them from any point? Does having a “Halo effect” imply action by way of exploiting R.A.S for an ultimate good? Or is it more like just being able to mingle, integrate, and interact more homogeneously as just a person, and not some sort of deity?
@patrickjade93494 жыл бұрын
Means dont justify the ends and the ends dont justify the means. I say this to your questions of r.a.s. exploitation. R.a.s. in my opinion is more about a description of what is happening when value attracts value and like attracts like. Sacrificing to learn what other people need is what is compassionate. One needs silence... or patience from you. Another needs inspiration. These are colder leads. Maybe warm leads. Addressing their needs is what brings the heat. Recognizing where the heat is needed is the work of mastery. At a high level, it's about leading and promoting through attraction rather than promotion. None of this is of control. But the attraction can get really strong, believe me. You can't even pull your eyes away from people that have mastered this shit
@patrickjade93494 жыл бұрын
I actually really appreciate this comment though. It makes me think about the value of social proof with these processes from an evolutionary standpoint. It's like an instinctual call for unity. I think this is what the great leaders have awakened. Like moths to a light, and the benefit for all.
@SuperChaser24 жыл бұрын
Patrick Hohenshilt awesome 😎 thank you. Yeah, I finished viewing the other half of the vid.. 🤣I was way off and didn’t really understand or have the concept down. I didn’t realize how fundamentally ingrained this is at even the most basic human behavior with or without interactions.. What you say : properly “Conveying” your self rather than trying to “convince” others for their selfs etc.. is definitely something I’m getting on board with and wanting to continue to refine myself towards. Thank you very much! 🙏🏼🌈🌈

Would you mind elaborating on the “even greater halo effect”? My boyfriend and I broke up because we started taking each other for granted and ironically both of our ex’s came back around at this time which caused our RAS flips even more. It’s been 3 months and we had lunch a week ago and the way he was staring at me was like he was piercing my soul because we are both empathic/ recovering codependents and found healing through each other. It’s as if this halo reset is happening right now but on a deeper level

Hm..usually co dep's repel eachother🤔..Are you Absolutely SURE that he, or one of you is not Narcissistic?
@vixenxiiiv4 жыл бұрын
Col Nohman trust me I thought the same thing and have dissected both of our pasts, every human has some narcissistic traits but it’s a matter of whether they turn completely pathological or not & him and I were both with very selfish narcissists for 5 years in our 20’s and had our hearts ripped out and walked on but we both had enough dignity to walk away in the end. The damage caused from those relationships is still obvious to this day, we found more of a friendship which led to romance in the end. Granted his relationship ended in 2014 and so did mine so we’re talking 4-5 years of us post narcissistic abuse. I was repelled at first but I think over time our hearts softened and we started to heal through our friendship. It’s actually quite a beautiful story

Haven't read any books on human magnetism... that being said, I dont know if it's something I'm going to need to after this. Who knows, maybe my thoughts will change. I got my brother to buy me an NLP book for Christmas. I've been sold on the idea of "evidence based practice" since I'm a counselor, might have to reconsider since an artform such as NLP and magnetism is used by such influential people. There's a difference between warm and hot leads I've seen in practice. I had a doctor (dentist) that threw herself whole heartedly into treatment and it was almost as if I was controlling her. (Gestalt therapy is one of the schools influencing NLP) the magnetism was at a HIGH level. But I was so caught off by it that I kind of shook myself out of it. She then wanted a more experienced therapist. Definitely a good learning experience though. Sometimes I think it says more about the audience member than the value giver as to what value they can let in to appreciate. As to cultivating it and being less dependent on the other? Glad for videos like this. Love to see you film an RSD movie that would be so freaking cool
