This one hurt, he really needs to stop leaving wrath against the Transient it's just a hard counter that makes the fight trivial for Watcher and he's taken important damage against the Transient in multiple runs.

Yea he doesn't understand how the Transient interacts with wrath. He thinks that if you deal 20 damage in wrath then the transient will deal 20 damage less, when it will actually deal 40 damage less. He would know this if he paid any attention at all, but he doesn't and that's just how he rolls. I embrace it

@@Jabbersac I think he's aware of that, but he's also aware of the fact that sometimes he draws no attacks and draws no ways to enter wraith (probably because he didn't take enough attacks). It can easily help save you, but one wrong turn early is instant death. For the later turns I agree it's a great decision

@@jcthesavior2585 this generally matters for other characters, but on watcher in wrath the scaling of Transient strength means that an attack is 2X more effective than any block and it is significantly more likely to draw 1-2 attacks (which are enough in wrath) than it is to put up enough block for 60-80 damage out of wrath

I honestly think NL needs to take more cards that say "enter calm" on them. I saw him pass up 3 opportunities for inner peace on that first run, which meant he was much more hesitant to go into wrath, which meant he didn't kill enimies fast enough.

Watcher with Strength goes crrrrrazy! I had a run recently with Shuriken, so I was running Flurry of Blows, Weave, Talk to the Hand and a bunch of scry with a Blasphemy kicker. It was really fun and I was obliterating hallway fights. And with all that scry, I was able to dodge my Ascender's Bane and Calling Bell curse pretty much every time. I think you could do the same thing with Du-Vu Doll.
