I don't know who their manager or promoters are, but they sure dropped the ball BIG when they had this group hit the airwaves the same time as B2K. Once B2K was out, it was GAME OVER for any other groups teen R&B Quartets/Quintets that were trying to get heard. B2K was EVERYWHERE; on TV, Radio, print.....you name it. I was really looking forward to see what The Hamptons were gonna do. What I loved about this jam was that it was "age related" stuff; i.e. the kind of stuff you'd expect a pre-teen/mid-teen kid to be thinking about/be into. Obviously, their content would change with age. They would have probably been better off if they had hit the scene after the B2K hysteria had faded away. Just my opinion though.

Great question well having bad management plays a big part in this we had and she was also our mother so being a mother and a manager sometimes don't work out also we were with a record that wasn't bad but wasn't good neither. Mr. Berry Hankerson the CEO of blackground records faced a very difficult time he lost Aaliyah which was his niece, once that happen just seemed like the other artist didn't matter. So we were released from the label.
