The wardrobe in this scene is so perfect. This is i believe the first time we see Mrs. Waterford's dress seem almost ill fitting where her looks are normally perfectly tailored. She seems swamped by the neckline and cut of the bodice,almost like a child playing in mommy's clothes, like the role she's made for herself itself is overwhelming and ill-fitting. It shows her struggle with it, and her neck and chest being more out than usual makes her look vulnerable as she talks to June.

This is probably one of my favorite scenes.. then working together. Serena is super responsible for all of this happening.. so.. I think she lives in this hell as partial punishment to herself. But... she gets these little glimmers of possible redemption every now and then. I love Serena. Her and June compliment each other well.
