Brianna sounds so innocent. This breaks my heart.

I'm glad June didn't tell Janine that her son was killed in a car accident when she read through her Red Center file. For those of you who haven't read the book, Janine's son actually is alive and well in the book whereas he is killed in the tv series. Angela, the baby given to the Putnam's, is the one who dies because she is born as a "shredder"; a baby in Gilead who is defective in some form.

I agree. June cares about Janine, even if Janine can be naive about certain things. June knows that it would break Janine's heart to know that her son is dead.

I wouldn't count on him being dead in the show. Gilead's incompetence is a major theme. Never trust an off screen death.

The moment from 1:35, where they say their names to each other, then the Handmaids go to each other an say their names to each other. Think that even without the music playing over the bit would still be powerful. Some things that might seam small, ain't.

Maybe it's because they think she more or less went crazy after losing her eye. In the book though the other handmaids are not as friendly towards her

She’s mentally unstable- if they pushed her too far she’d snap even more and probably kill someone

I think it's because everyone knows she lost her mind after the torture and mutilation, but they also know she's not any kind of threat in terms of starting any kind of revolution. She's not mentally there enough anymore to help plan a resistance operation. She's easy to manage other than her childlike outbursts, so they just let her do her thing because she's easily controlled and fertile.

I just hope that they spare her life this season...if you already watched the first 3 episodes of season 4, some of the handmaids "bit" it.

Janine is such a sweet, fragile soul. I want to take her away from Gilead and give Charlotte back to her. I was so hoping she'd be able to get on the plane of out Gilead.
