Sometimes I have to step back and think about how weird the modern world is. I am listening to a song that was released 51 years ago. Everyone involved in its production is either really old now or dead. But here I am, 51 years later, listening to the exact same recording that someone could have listened to in 1965. The singer sounds just like he did 51 years ago, and in 100 years he'll sound exactly the same way he sounds today. The world got really strange, really fast.

I get you. This song kind of facilitates that type of thinking. Its unusually haunting and very hard to believe its the B side to one of their other songs. I think most of us all share one of those girls that we really liked and somehow lost touch with them. The story that could have been I guess. As our lives continue pulling us all into different directions, we lose touch with people, meet new people, and never realize how easy it is to lose contact with those special people.

Awoke from a dream about a girl I was good friends with some years ago. I messaged her but the response was cold and to a now stranger. In my dream, she looks like now, and she was picking some things up around the house. We looked out of a window and she hugged me from behind and kissed my back. I turned around and couldn't wait to kiss her. She smiled and knew I couldn't wait for this first kiss. Then I hear a baby crying. And I awake. This has been reoccurring over the past 5 years with her. She truly is the girl who faded away. Every time.
@justforthis32086 ай бұрын
Ah that sounds painful. There's this girl I really like but I think and feel she doesn't like me back for a few reasons. I can't stop thinking about how amazing she is and it hurts me to think she'll fade away as we move away in 6 months despite the fact I currently regularly see her witihin our friendgroup. I ruminate but deep down I realise any sense of constant calm and positive feeling will come from within myself and looking after myself, which I'm neglecting at the moment.

Hi Eloise, Thank you for the enlightenment. Ireally must of been "in the fog" on that!! I did a lot of reading an now understand just how popular "The Hangmen" were in their day in The States. Knocking "The Beatles" out of the top spot in their own state....sharing the same show stage with my number 1 hard pop band "The Animals"......and having to deal riots when performing....certainly sounds like a party. So I am sorry for my blunder and I thank you for my new addition to my play list.
