One of the craziest, funniest movies ever!! That “church” - or what they refer to as a chapel in Las Vegas is not really a church in the religious sense. There are “wedding chapels” all over Las Vegas - it’s something that is unique to Las Vegas - they are simply places you can go for a quick wedding. They certainly aren’t Christian - but they are legal venues for a wedding. It is secular, and recognized legally but not recognized by any organized religion. Anyone can get married there. As far as the tuxedo shop truck, that doesn’t normally happen - Allen said he had a friend that would help them out with getting their tuxedos. Normally, you have to get them way ahead of the wedding - you have to be measured properly, etc. But it made for a comical scene in the film.

The wedding chapels are not unique to Las Vegas. You can find them in Reno & Lake Tahoe NV also. Probably other places as well.

The only guys I ever got to know, who dressed like you two, were in Boston, for school. I worked at a high end nightclub, as a valet. Those guys were super cool! The wedding singer is an actual famous Las Vegas performer. Richard Cheese and Rage against the Lounge. His thing is to take contemporary songs from R&B, hip hop and Heavy Metal and sing then in this older fashion classic Lounge Crooner style. You can Listen to his music on yourube.

Its Kind of funny that you said that Gambling is Haram. But you should see how many Saudi's are in Vegas. I remember when I was a kid I used to think who are the dudes with the white dresses and towels on their heads. But as I am older I just think, isn't this Haram? I needed a laugh and your reaction did not disappoint! I haven’t seen this movie in a long time and I forgot how funny it is. This was directed by Todd Phillips (he has a cameo as the guy in the elevator) who had previous success with 2 comedies you should check out: Eurotrip and Old School. Fun fact: The wedding singer in this movie was introduced in Old School. The Hangover Sequels are okay, but not as good as the original. Recently, Philips pivoted from comedies to drama and gained recognition for the movies Joker and Joker: Folie a Deux.

This was the funnest reaction of all of them! It’s so good when you guys laugh! Also, I’m from Miami where you can literally pay for someone to do just about anything so having the Tux guy to send someone like that in LA (I’ve lived in LA too)would be most definitely possible. Two very expensive cities to live in so we all hustle. Similar culture but they probably would have pulled over on the side of the road for it. Aside from that it’s also not unheard of for someone there to just want to help out for the sake of helping out. We live in North Carolina now where you can’t pay anyone to do anything to that effect, different culture, it was a real culture shock for us moving here in that regard. Don’t get me wrong people are wonderful here and you’re friends will do absolutely anything for you, just the whole tipping culture isn’t that strong here.

Tipping-Culture was invented in Jim-Crow-Law States….it was a way to Pay White servers while neglecting servers of color after abolition….. That’s the origin of “tipping” culture. I’ve been told many people of color won’t tip because it’s founded in Southern Segregation and unfairness. Tipping was designed to appear to be De-segregation (everyone gets shit pay)….BUT, if you Serve well You will get Tipped. Guess what? White Servers were Tipped heavily and people of color were Earning less than minimum wage (never got tips in south)…stuck with lower-than-minimum-wages . Tipping was a system designed to keep people of color from earning Minimum wage….Equal but Racist (tip white people, not required to pay non-whites…..”Customers will Tip”). Tipping was invented to screw over people of Color in the south

He is not even 1% Arabic and is an actor/comedian that is hilarious hahaha. These “churches” in Las Vegas and other places are not acknowledged by any real Christian sect and are frowned upon as sinful. Completely disgusting. It just adds to the absurdity of the movie. Literally everything in this movie is over the top, complete madness to add to the comedy. 42:22 Rapper 50 Cent song “Candy Shop” done in a classy wedding style hahahaha. Just adds to the absurd nature of this comedy movie.

17:46 Many people in America get married in a Christian church but all of the paperwork and legal stuff is handled by whatever state that you live in. There are "chapels" in Las Vegas (and in other places) that you can get married in but have nothing to do with Christianity, they're just a business that caters to people who want to marry in under 20 minutes. It's seen as a trashy thing to do because people who do this are making a split decision, usually while drunk, plus that's obviously not enough time for family to come so you're excluding them. It's become increasingly popular to get married somewhere beautiful with a big enough indoor hall to enjoy a meal afterwards and have a party. My wedding happened at the Dallas Arboretum, they have an area where they grew Crape Myrtle trees into an arch shape down a long path big enough that 300 people could attend. 41:08 Absolutely not normal but a lot of businesses will do whatever they can to help you if something crazy has happened and you absolutely need their help.
