Ah, it's that time of the year. I always find it crazy how fast a year flies by. I was just talking with my boss yesterday and told him I was going to upload for Miku's birthday today to which he replied - "I swear you said the same thing last year." Some things never change, huh. I would just like to give a big shoutout to our blue haired queen for being who she is, and for getting me into composing songs for just around 6 years now. My life has changed for the better, and I couldn't be any more grateful to VOCALOID for being what it is. My first experience with VOCALOID dates back to my highschool days. I was a senior and the year was 2013 when my friend first introduced me to World is Mine. I can hardly believe it's been 10 years since then. To be honest, at first I really didn't like it at all. It sounded weird to me and I had no idea what they were saying. But the more I listened to the songs, the more I found myself enjoying it. Before I realized it, I found myself wanting to write music with the software myself. Thus begun my journey into VOCALOID and into learning the Japanese language. Ah, the nostalgia. This is a song I wrote back in 2021 when living in a crazy share house in Tokyo with 30 other people. Every day was a party, and more often than not, I found myself with a hangover. While I have long left that crazy share house and that lifestyle in the past, this is still a nostalgic song to me and I hope that all of my former housemates find themselves well. If I remember correctly the house is set to close down either this year or the next. Thank you for your continued support despite my few uploads. I have been posting one original PV a year for just about a year now, but with how busy work is I have found it hard to continue composing lately. It's easy to get caught up in the numbers game, and I admit I find myself missing the days where I got more attention on my music from time to time. But it's ok. I'm going to continue doing what I love. For those of you guys that have stuck around the whole time - thank you. And for those of you new here, welcome, and stay around for a good time. I love the absolute timeline of you mate. I just got a random recommend of your Romeo and Cinderella cover and I decided to check out the channel and just to see you go from like hardly liking it at the beginning like you said, to making some banger covers, to actually see you make some really cute and cool songs with Vocaloid itself.
