We are really proud of Ateez. ATEEZ’s Captain Hongjoong went viral because attendees said he started directing security (Mingi did also). You can see him leave and go to their own personal security and staff for help. The ones pulling out the girl in the video were ATEEZ’s people. You can also see their guard actively trying to get the crowd to move back. When they won their awards, they used part of their acceptance speeches to talk to the crowd directly and helped diffuse the situation. Kudos to Aespa also. They were constantly talking to the crowd and security as the worst of the malay was happening directly in front of where they, Hongjoong, and Mingi were. That had to be pretty scary when they can see the faces of the fans that were getting squished right in front of them.

Winter from aespa and Mingi and Hongjoong from ATEEZ were actively telling the security guards to give out water to the fans cause so many of them were getting suffocated against the barriers due to the pushing. The management was all over the place, security is supposed to be managing crowds condition not the idols!

Bruh ATEEZ was announced as performers not even a full day before this cursed award show😂. Atinys weren’t able to get tickets but Hongjoong and Mingi were doing their best to help all the fans there. Once they realized what was going on, Hongjoong even got off stage to get their security team to help. They even had their security guards rescuing ppl from the crowd.

Not just the person who pooped, someone else posted that they peed too! Maybe they posted it for attention or they rly did, we'll never know. The whole show and management was such a mess! Ateez had to wait on the stage for too long to perform, and the members were getting pissed. Their performance that day was especially energetic and gruff, atinys thought that they might've put their anger out into their performance lolll. Ateez and Aespa really had to do crowd control there. Ateez weren't planning to go to the award show, it was actually a last minute decision. Both San and Hongjoong told the fans to move back and not to push each other during the speech after accepting their awards. And Mingi and Hongjoong told the security to check the people fighting in the crowd and to give out water. Hongjoong really got up and told their own (Ateez's) security guards to help control the crowd. A lot of fans posted thank you messages to hongjoong and ateez on twitter saying they would've collasped from suffocation if hongjoong didn't tell the guards to give out water! Atinys from Korea are even posting memes saying Hongjoong should be their president loll. Ateez rly went viral everywhere haha

Apparently according to multiple fans it wasn't fights breaking out but people being shoved and pushed due to how crowded the standing area was. That's why artists noticed and did something because fans were being toppled over. I also heard from fans that a lot of people were getting faint from dehydration as well. But this is just what I have seen being said from my Twitter circles.

Most people think the person claiming responsibility isn't actually the person who did it. Security wasn't doing a good job keeping people back. Some fans said their feet at times weren't touching the ground because of how tightly packed they were. Due to the Itaewon trajedy (a few Halloweens back over 150 people died at a celebration due to a crowd crush--a national trajedy fresh in their minds), being in that kind of situation was probably extremely stressful. So yes, the person may have had a condition, but they also may not have been able to get out of the packed crowd to use the restroom.

I saw the video with ateez in it, and mingi looks so pissed with the security or something. The security there are too slow of handling the situation.

@@valenandtheoWhen a fan call was ending, the fan thought they heard Jiwoong cursing as the camera went off. They were upset that it was hard to get a fan call and felt Jiwoong didn't want to be there. Some people think the fan was actually a hater, some say it isn't clear whether it was a swear, and others say it was a swear, but it could have been anyone in the room who said it. Seems like much ado about nothing to me.

I’m not too sure, but I read that Jiwoong, the one who was yelled at to leave his group (zerobaseone) was brought into controversy because he ‘supposedly’ cursed after a fancall. There was no proof and was recently dropped, but like cmon, a curse?! So not deserved. Some fans are crazy.

i’m pretty sure that girl is a known sasaeng. Also, a few months ago she was posting hate about jiwoong and she’s refusing to show us the full video for context, it’s very likely fake.
