Roth the Happy End of GREAT racing - yes - even if Norseman is still to come, as a final one. There is a wonderful German word called WEHMUT. It's build out of two other words. WEH, what means something like PAIN. And MUT, wants means COURAGE. Maybe these two meanings in one word describe the 'Discontinued Tour' the best. Now we have reached the stage where the mind let go the central idea of VICTORY, which is so important for every world class athlete. And the eyes can see the other side - there is nothing more to do, no need to be better next year - and the inner journey comes to a change. The path is covered. Relief is entering the scene. A great career and a great story is coming slightly to its end. Enjoy the final steps! And - thanks for sharing!

Sebi, ein ganz großer. Immer gerade aus, kein weichgespültes Gelaber. Meine erste Wahrnehmung von ihm war, dass er DIE Macht auf dem Rad ist. Er hat Rennen gewonnen indem er auf dem Rad alles rausgehauen hat und alle in Grund und Boden gefahren hat. Heute leider unvorstellbar, da werden Rennen beim Marathon gewonnen und sich beim Radpart in den Zug gesetzt. Auch geil sein Ausstieg bei Bahrain Endurance. Auf jede Menge Kohle verzichtet weil es mit seinen moralischen Grundvorstellungen nicht zusammenpasst - da gibt es andere gefeierte Athleten und Verbände (ja DFB, ich meine dich) die es da nicht so genau sehen. Ich werde dich immer feiern. Hau rein.
