I feel like I'm having a spiritual experience. I've been listening to these guys for a couple months, but never knew what they looked like, how many members there are, where they're from etc. Now for the first time I'm watching music videos and I can't even take it all in. Y'all are mUCH younger than I thought, ONLY THREE, I did NOT expect a cello to show up, and now I realize there's two singers and that's why the songs sound so much different to another. I think my brain just exploded, but like, in the confetti way.

3! Luke sings as well, mostly back vocals but he's done a few solos, I wish he sang more tho his voice is so sick!

A cheery-sounding song with a not-so-cheery subject matter, “Achey Bones” was written after “While You Fade Away”, which is evident in their similar subjects of heartbreak. Summed up by drummer Luke Davis: All our songs are really happy. Our names are really ironic. The latter song enjoyed great success, flying up to Spotify’s top charts a week after its release. Cellist Calvin Langman described on a live session with Paste Magazine that, despite being written in the earlier days of Awfully Apeelin', they didn’t include “Achey Bones” in the final EP because they “didn’t have the drums to pull it off yet”. When drummer Luke Davis fully joined the band in official capacity after the EP’s release (and “While You Fade Away”’s sudden success), “Achey Bones” was added as Concentrate’s first single.

[Verse 1] Fell down the stairwell; had tripped on my feet My heart got untied and laced with ennui Dear Mr. Shoemaker, make me some cleats How it'd be lovely to step on my dreams [Pre-Chorus] I see, I see it's too true to believe You were just lying next to me [Chorus] Heal it all and by the hour forget See it all and say, "Who? Who?' Heal it all and by the hour forget See it all and say, "Who? Who?' Whatcha sayin', whatcha sayin', that I can't hold on? (Who would I love here if I hadn't gone?) Whatcha sayin', whatcha sayin', that I can't move on? (Who would I love here if I hadn't gone?) [Post-Chorus] See in the way of the poorest; the lowest are lovely and lonely, defined See in the way of the future, the way of the story The way of the times [Verse 2] Up is the way that I wanted to see For, less the good nightmares, I was bereaved Dear Mr. Sandman, please give me some sleep How it'd be lovely to have all my dreams [Pre-Chorus] I see, I see it's too true to believe You were just lying next to me [Chorus] Heal it all and by the hour forget See it all and say, "Who? Who?" Heal it all and by the hour forget See it all and say, "Who? Who?" But you say, but you say, but you can't get on (Who would I love here if I hadn't gone?) But you say, but you say, but you can't hold on (Who would I love here if I hadn't gone?) [Post-Chorus] See in the way of the poorest The lowest are lovely and lonely, defined See in the way of the future The way of the story, the way of the times [Bridge] Bending backwards, head to toes, and you'll say Get up, get out of this town Get up get out of this town Now feeling down my achey bones, and you'll say Get up, get out of this town Get up get out of this town See in the way of the poorest The lowest are lovely and lonely, defined See in the way of the future, the way of the story The way of the story The way of the, way of the, way of the Time [Chorus] Heal it all and by the hour forget See it all and say Heal it all and by the hour forget See it all and say Whatcha sayin', whatcha sayin', that I can't hold on? (Who would I love here if I hadn't gone?) Whatcha sayin', whatcha sayin', that I can't move on? (Who would I love here if I hadn't gone?) [Post-Chorus] See in the way of the poorest; the lowest are lovely and lonely, defined See in the way of the future, the way of the story The future's divine
