Loved this video. Trevor is as entertaining as he is informative. I've held an MR920 so far. Hands down best frame design in the game to me as a new shooter. The gun planted in my hand even better than the M&P 2.0 I got, and the only reason I went M&P over MR920 was it was on sale for a really good price. But I will be going Shadow Systems for sure as my next gun.

I'd love to see SS get into the AR15 space. Be curious if they would manufacture all components in house or if they would outsource barrels, triggers, and certain other components to keep production costs down

My MR920 War Poet and my CR920XP birth just hit 2,800 rounds. Four different brands, three different grains, and a mix of JHP & FMJ. I have not had one malfunction of any kind. Proud to say.

Is it normal for a Cr920xp to all failure to eject and stove pipes and failure to feed on the first couple mags?
@tenso81626 күн бұрын
Yeah if you read your manual it tells you of the 200 round break in period that helps mate the parts and tight tolerances of the pistol. Recommended to use high pressure rounds such as 124gr Winchester Nato or federal American eagle. Break in with 124 quality ammo at the minimum. Most people who have issues just shoot cheap ammo through it which don't let the parts break in properly. I just got an mr920p, approaching 1k rounds with 0 issues so far. Broke in with Winchester Nato and started shooting all diff types of ammo no problems.
@tylermckibben32656 күн бұрын
@@tenso8162 thank you, yea I read the 200 round break in part I’m up to 120 rounds now and haven’t had it cycle correctly or load a round a single time as of yet and have had to mag strip and manually eject and load each round. I’ll try some of the Winchester I’ve shot 5 different ones so far including self defense rounds but haven’t tried the Winchester 124 nato.
@tenso81626 күн бұрын
Dang that's frustrating. Just curious, What types of ammo have you shot? I also was recommended by others to shoot the 200-300 rounds in one session which is what I did. No clue if the crxp is different though, but I can't imagine it is. Wish you the best of luck!

O yea! I have a feeling that a 45acp & 10MM pistols are on their way. If they do, design a AR-15 platform rifle. O yea! This is going to be. 😎🤘 BAD ASS! 🤘😎. I cant wait. Ive enjoy my XR920P pistol. All tho! I like to see shadow systems team up with a trigger manufacturer and get their trigger issues figured out. I love their pistol. But triggers have got to get better. I end up purchasing a jonny glock Evolution x combat in my XR920P. Other than their triggers. Shadow systems is a dam good pistol

Bronze fluted barrel, the same grip texture pistol grip. O yea! I'd be...... 😍 IN LOVE 😍. I know this. I'm going start saving now

@ I have, to the extent of owning 4 shadow systems myself. Of the 4, 2 were great. The others were a massive disappointment and aligned and are represented well in the random rest video. My gut tells me the issues are far MORE common than we think. Reddit forums would tend to agree. Love shadow systems but they still have some major hurdles in front of them.
@HuntFishShootChannel8 күн бұрын
You had issues with accuracy or what in general? I ask out of genuine curiosity. Do keep in mind, go looking for problems on the internet and you will find them easier than the good. This transcends every single company and no one is immune from that.

Why do your pistols require an extensive “break-in” period and why do 1/2 of them still feed like Sh’t 💩 even afterwards? Why do your triggers Suck at your price points?
@HuntFishShootChannel8 күн бұрын
Extensive break in? It’s 200 rounds. Let alone we have every pistol they make, and two of them had a break in period, the XR920 and CR920XP. Every pistol we own from them has well over 1k rounds with the exception of two foundation series models. The triggers aren’t the best on the market but they are the best out of the box “Glock clone” and better than stock Gen 5 Glock triggers. Most people don’t shoot or dry fire their glock pattern pistols enough to break the trigger in, that is something we used to do before anything other than Glock existed and I still do now.
