I think I wouldn't want the game to become overly complicated. Elemental damage is already in it, just add some status resistance without differentiating and we should be good, imho. And now I'm gonna watch the rest of the video :D

Whenever those archers spawn, just go against the southern edge of a pillar and they won't hit you - dashing towards the pillar will activate the dash stuff. Elemental damage/resistance seems a bit out of place in this unless they add a whole lot of it to all tier3 items just to make people slow their 'progression' which in itself is rather bad since it invalidated the previous equipment entirely.

They could have elemental as a blanket resistance and call it magic defense. Then add magic pen stats. The biggest issue i see is there isn’t a great way to roll gear. I think before adding extra stats, maybe add armor set bonuses, more talents, and class specific weapons.

Nah it's still there, I only really use it now if you're going for full Master/Legendary build

Wouldn’t it have been more efficient to take one Strike and then Banish it so that you never see Strikes again instead of banishing each individual Strike on sight?

3:40 - Why you fo not using limitation of the slots for types of skills? I mean, that it is possible to save a lot of banishes.... you use few banishes to banish strikes, but you can pick 1 of them with 1 level and after use only one banish for this strike. You was able to save your banishes for something usefull )

It's fine for early game before you have gear for Lorien( if you have the talents already) but once you have a bit it gives up way to much between the two slots

I like the idea of splitting between Physical and Magic defense at most. It's one of my few criticisms of Last Epoch. having so many resistances
