Wish us luck around St Mellion golf course on the Nicklaus course which is known as one of the UK's hardest golf courses and it might be fair to say one of the hardest golf course in the world EVER. If you miss the greens your golf short game is tested and the greens are small with lots of slope.
Mark and the gang have played all over the world on some of the best golf courses and on many really hard golf courses and it was agreed that St Mellion golf course on the Nicklaus course is one of golfs hardest tests.

You’ve got to give it to Ray that he keeps coming back time and time again. Golf is hard enough and he does it on camera for thousands to see AND has these 2 guys hammering him non-stop. We know it’s all in good fun and he’s takes it like a champ but if there was ever a guy to root for on Mark’s channel, for me, it’s Ray all day long. He’s the every-man. Keep at it buddy 👊.

I use to play this and the old course once a year fantastic, but if l remember rightly the best stableford score was 23 man it was hard, this brought back some great memories cheers guys.

Agreed. Not a bad swing. I am not a coach but to me it looks like his sequence is out of order. It looks like from the top he pulls down with the hands with little corresponding hip rotation. Two things can happen; you can come over the top, or because of the lack of hip rotation, you can run out of right arm which shuts the face and sends the ball left. You can probably figure out why I know that. ;-)

I feel if I get the content for free the least I can do is watch a few ads however that being said I do feel the creator must put the ads tastefully in the content. In 2002 I won a stableford on this course over 2 rounds playing off 14. I took a 5 wood off nearly every tee to keep it in play, won quite comfortably using my shots.

There’s a course here in Kansas City designed by Jack Nicklaus. It doesn’t have as many trees but I see the same style in the fairways and definitely the drop offs around the greens. Beautiful courses.

Agree very tough - remember Pros complained when they had the B&H there and wind was up and was too tough, think they moved it to the Oxfordshire. Played it a few times and if you go off the fairway ball is dead - big time. Good course though 👌😄

Reminds me of a Johnny Miller course that’s now defunct outside DC...it had similar terrain and balls bouncing into the crap...you had to play most holes short..and are all Nicklaus courses set up for faders?

Played here 27 yrs ago off 8 handicap. Birdied 1st, out in 39. Killed coming home in 50 with 2 balls in the water on the last. Gotta love golf
